Wordpress SEO #2 - XML Sitemaps & Google Webmaster Tools #Best Education Page #Online Earning

hello again everybody is Alex here from

WP Eagle comm and this is part two of

our SEO tutorial and in this video we're

going to be going through creating an

XML sitemap on WordPress so then we're

going to submit a sitemap up to Google

by our webmaster console so let's begin

okay if you remember we left off we have

been playing over the test site and we

installed the quake plug-in by Yoast

which is called WordPress SEO and that's

where we're going to go to find our XML

sitemaps you can install specific

individual plugins to do XML sitemaps

but yosh does it all for you so that's

what you need so let's go and take a

look so within the SEO menu you'll find

XML sitemaps

and you just need to tick a box and

you're pretty much done and and you can

choose whether you want to exclude

certain types I recommend that you keep

going on

if glue the media is not necessary and

save the settings

once you've done that you get a button

here where you can actually go and view

your sitemap

and it's two sitemap index is at a

sitemap underscore index dot XML great

thing about the Yoast plugin is that it

creates different sitemaps for each type

of font pasted up sorry each post or

page or category so everything's nicely

organized so if we click on the post has

anyone post on this test site moment

it's there okay so once that's done we

then need to go and upload that to

Google Webmaster Tools so if you go to

Google and just do a quick search for

webmaster tools

it's obviously usually the first thing

that comes up give that a click and

you'll need to sign in to that with your

Google account

okay once you've done that you're in and

what you need to do is at the site so

the site we're adding is my test site

which is just test WP eagle calm

okay and we need to verify now if you

remember in part 1 of the video I showed

you that you can easily verify with

Yoast so what you need to do is go back

into Yoast and on the dashboard okay and

it says enter the meta value so the meta

value is this thing here and all this

code

now just copy the whole thing a

I'm just gonna take

you need to take Melissa but all that

help but this out just leaving the the

gibberish was pretty all cheer pressure

but just that bit of gibberish and

that's done something when we go back to

webmaster tools and click verify yeah

we're done

okay so

once you start give me a couple days

whatever you start to get a bit data at

your site in terms of cruel errors and

search queries and another tons of other

stuff that you can look at but we're

going to submit a sitemap or you know

that you need to go to configuration

sorry optimization and then sitemaps

add two sitemap if you remember we go

back to the URL see it's called sitemap

index underscore index dot XML

Smit refresh

ah okay I've got a problem there because

my website is currently set to to block

searching so if we just turn that off

for a second
