Wordpress SEO #3 - Optimising a Wordpress Post using Yoast #Best Education Page #Online Earning

eagle calm and in this episode we're

going to be optimizing a wordpress post

using the Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress

which I was in the previous video web

presence here part 2 i'll put a link up

so that you can find that video so what

we're going to do is we're going to work

on a post and i'm going to show you how

to optimize your content using Yost so

that it's as good as it can possibly be

to get ranked for your choice of keyword

on Google and others so let's get

started right we're back on the wp eagle

contest site and i've installed the

propulsion phim again there's a video on

there and but that doesn't really matter

does matter wealthy me using as long as

you've got the Yoast SEO plug-in

installed and okay so once you got

installed and you need to start writing

a post so I've already started a post

haven't saved it yet and I want to rank

this particular post is any for for this

example I want to rank it for the

keyword and custom pine furniture so I

put a little bit of copying and the

first place we're going to go is scroll

down to the WordPress SEO by Yoast kind

of option panel and there's a little bar

here which allows us to do a quick

search and find some keywords and

basically this uses QE research to

suggest some I do so if I start typing

custom pine you can see there's some

keywords that have come up related to

that now I want to go for custom pine

furniture so let's select that and now

what will happen is this keyword is our

focus keyword to and the plug-in will

kind of help us make sure that we've got

this in all the right places so and we

need to do the title this is on the most

important parts of SEO and it's the bit

that appears in the top of the browser

bar you know these will page titles and

it also appears on google as the main

blue link so let's all see including

keywords so custom pine furniture

and then you can add some more words if

you want tell us yeah made-to-measure to

your specification pacification

something like that that's fine and now

you can see that it's gone green there

and Yost has told us that we've we've

included it once in our page title so

let's have a look at the meta

description now the meta description is

the bitter text that appears underneath

your listing on Google so again you want

to include the keyword you want to rank

to do that but the thing you do need to

do is have a look at the title of the

image here which needs to be the keyword

ideally and you should also stick that

in the alt text as well and if you want

to use captions on your images which is

you know a little bit of text underneath

you know we can do that too let's insert

this medium to the right into the post

and its it's stuck at the bottom I think

I'll have it at the top let's update and

have a look

okay we've gone green so that's a good

sign so let's just go down and have a

look I'll page analysis again okay

there's only a few yellow things left

which again if you got the time you

might as well work on it wants me to

write some more things for the Meta

Description add a few links add some h2s

okay we can do some h2s and so these are

kind of headings so you know we could

just for the sake of this example add

one here h2 custom pine furniture I'll

get as a few more points

and don't worry about that it's it's

because it's not in the first paragraph

because it thinks this is a paragraph

it's fine okay let's have a look at the

post so you can see what it actually

looks like on the front and then I think

we're done we've got one optimized post

my image hasn't loaded for some reason

but you know that's irrelevant there it
