incredible process an incredible
technique or tool if you will then I'm
gonna share with you today that will
help you be able to change virtually
anything in your life okay if there's a
certain pattern that you want to change
a certain behavior behavior certain
emotional state like depression or being
sad or guilty or unhappy or whatever
might be this technique or tool will
help you change that if you have a
pattern of procrastinating all right you
sit around you don't do anything or you
sit on the couch or you sit on Facebook
all day whatever it is for you this
process will help you change and it's
something that I discovered recently and
I started using it for myself and I've
been blown away by how much has helped
my life and I want to share that with
you guys as well so there's a few steps
to this process so this videos gonna be
and I'm gonna show you the steps on how
to change these things and then I'm
gonna give you like a prescription like
an action plan that you can use
afterwards if you want to apply it to
your life and make a change
so the first step okay first step to
changing anything is you need to first
get yourself in the emotional state or
get yourself in a pattern that is
destructive for you okay so for example
if your pattern that you want to change
is being depressed or being sad or you
know sitting on the on the couch or
whatever it is maybe it's like binge
eating you know you eat like junk food
or whatever what you want to do is you
want to put yourself in that state first
okay and you need to hit that peak of
that state and that's so important
because if you just intellectually think
about that state or that you know binge
eating or the thing you want to change
that's not enough okay so you have to
physically put yourself in that state so
for example for the sake of this video
let's say that you have a pattern of
being depressed okay and this can
basically refer any emotional state any
any pattern but we'll use depression as
an example so let's say you have a bad
habit a bad pattern of being depressed
you get depressed all the time and so
what you want to do first is you want to
get yourself in
stick so for example how would you stand
if you're depressed or how would you sit
so if you get really depressed you know
how would you stand how it would your
body be like what were your physiology
be like you know so for example if I was
to get the press right now I put my head
down my shoulders down I breathe you in
to go really shallow I'd have certain
tension in my body is certain facial
expression you know I'm just gonna
clothes off my body and I start to think
about the things and focus on the things
that make me depressed okay so I focus
on how my life sucks or I'd focus on how
I'm not good enough for that you know
why it's always happening me and and I'm
not make any progress in my life and
focus on the things that they can't
control and I'm a loser and all that
kind of stuff right so you'd really want
to make sure that you intensely feel
that emotional state okay if you know
being depressed or whatever it is if
it's sitting on the couch if it's laying
in your bed you want to put yourself in
that environment in that state as best
as you can if it's binge eating or
whatever and you do want to you know get
that food oh you know we're getting from
the computer you know if it's Facebook
whatever but put yourself in that
environment right in the pattern that
you're running so that you can change
okay so going back to being depressed
right at the peak of this okay when I
beat myself up I feel horrible I feel
like shit right the peak of this I'm
gonna do something unique to break my
pattern okay so for example I'll do it
first and then I'll explain it later
okay so I'm really depressed right now
I'm gonna do some crazy so I'm gonna be
like wait Goff okay art is something to
joke myself Joel my note nervous is
stuff to break the pattern that I'm in
okay so just to kind of explain what
that's about depression sadness worry
anxiety whatever emotional state that's
stopping you or any pattern that's
stopping you okay like a behavior like
being you know binge eating or or
sitting procrastinating and Facebook or
whatever that's a pattern okay it's a
pattern that you run and imagine as if
you know you have a CD and on that city
there's a certain pattern that's been
burned on that CD so if you take that CD
you put in a CD player what happens is
it

depression all these things these are
certain patterns of your gun they're
automatic they're autopilot they're just
conditioning that we do again and again
and again and we've done it so many
times that's become habitual for us
that's become automatic okay now if you
take that CD and I take the other needle
okay and I scratch that city back and
forth back and forth back and forth back
and forth and I put try to put that city
back in a CD player or what happens it's
not gonna play the same way because I've
interrupt them interrupted the pattern
so many times that it literally cannot
go back okay so in this pattern that you
run okay getting depressed for example
when I'm in this weak state and I'm not
really feeling it when I shot myself
shot my nervous system I said wake up or
to say something crazy or you know maybe
I started jumping up and down or I start
doing throws or somebody died something
crazy and spontaneous that you would not
expect that literally shocks you and the
truth is we already have certain moments
like this like have you ever been really
depressed and then something happens you
know like somebody gets like a car
accident or somebody calls and it just
totally interrupts your state or maybe
you're really angry about something and
you're yelling at someone and it really
intense about it and then someone else
says something or it's like what has
nothing to do with what you're talking
about and then you try to go back into
what you're saying you totally forgot
you're like what the hell was I talking
about again that's an example of
breaking your pattern changing your
state okay
now the thing is if you do this enough
times where you get into this bad state
and then you do something to shock
yourself to break your pattern then all
of a sudden what happens is you're
unable to get back into that old state
that old pattern you literally cannot go
back to being the promised
just because you've interrupted it so
many times it's like that see where
you know you scratch it back and forth
it can't play the same pattern okay and
your body your nervous system works
exact same way okay so this is a very
useful technique or tool to start
breaking the old pattern that's talking
you okay now they're dissing end in
there is actually another step after
that so the first step is to get
yourself in that state put yourself in
the pattern okay
the second step is to break the pattern
in term up to do something crazy unique
something that shocks you just didn't
totally get yourself out of it but the
third step is to put yourself in the
state that you need to be so basically
replace the old pattern with something
new so for exam let's say you're
depressed
and you break that pattern which is
great you do that again and again and
again well as soon as you break that
pattern you got to replace it you have
to replace it with something new so I'm
gonna replace it with feeling the way I
want to feel okay so for example I'm
depressed I said wake up and then all of
a sudden I start standing up tall I put
a smile on my face I start breathing
full I have my shoulders back you know I
have a certain physiology I'm taking up
space I'm grounded up centered me and
the earth or one I start to you know
feel incredible I start to use my body
start moving my body taking a deep
breath smile right looking up maybe I
start visualizing imagine the life that
I want to have right are just thinking
about what I'm grateful for what I'm
happy about my life start focusing on
that maybe I make a certain move like
yeah yes or whatever right something is
to really anchor that in okay so I
replace it with something new and I
really replace it with how I want to
feel if you're procrastinating or
sitting on Facebook you want to replace
that with something else right maybe you
jump up and you start being productive
you start you know feeling motivating
you start to focus on your life and how
you want it to be maybe you start going
over your vision board and you start to
focus on that maybe you start to read a
book instead cuz that's a new pattern or
behavior that you want to replace it
with okay but basically by doing this
you know if if it's binge eating list
let's say you know you get yourself in
that state of binge eating
want that junk food and the interactive
pattern and then all of a sudden you go
to drink the water and step to replace
it okay that's a great way to replace
the pattern mister having something like
that is really important and then it is
to add one more piece to this as well
one more step is when you're in this
amazing state when you're feeling
incredible when you're experiencing the
new pattern that you want to feel what
you want to do is you want to anchor it
which is a basically an NLP technique or
term to basically and create a new
Association okay so when you're in this
peak state of feeling amazing feeling
happy feeling strong feeling confident
if you do something unique right at the
peak of that okay so for example
snapping my fingers or to say yes and
clenching my fist what's happening is
I'm associating or linking this
emotional state of being happy you're
confident to that gesture okay so
basically if I do that enough times then
if I'm depressed or I'm down all I got
to do is go like this or like this and
just set off an anchor and then go back
into that emotional state if feeling
confident or happy or however you want
to feel okay it's a great technique that
we already experience you know
advertisers do this to us all the time
you know they use something in their
advertising to produce a certain
emotional state
maybe it's music maybe it's hot girls or
some like that and then rank one during
the peak at that stage they flash the
product flash the product to flash the
product so all of a sudden you like
association you link those emotions to
their product okay that's an example of
an ink another example of it is you know
when you see your boss and you just link
pain to your boss you can be feeling
really happy and used to your boss off
son you feel stressed or you feeling
anxiety okay that's another example of
an anchor we have these anchors all over
that control
to control how we feel you know you hear
your favorite song on the radio and
totally changes her state because you
linked some emotion to that song alright
so this is the base of the same
technique the same tool that you can go
through to change virtually any aspect
of your life and it's something that
I've been doing for the last two weeks
or so and it's been phenomenal so if
you're up for something like this if you
want to make a change and obviously if
you're watching this video this long and
listen to me rant you obviously want to
actually apply this and that's where all
the power is right it's great just to
sit there passively and watch something
the real power is actually taking action
and applying it so what I encourage you
to do is do this process okay do this
process at least ten times a day
okay maybe first thing in the morning
before you go to bed but a minimum ten
times a day for the next 10 days okay so
first thing in the morning spend five or
10 minutes just put yourself in that
state of whatever you want to change
maybe it's just sleeping in Ryan just
being in your bed and you have a pattern
of sleeping in just put yourself in that
state lay in your bed and then just
interrupt the pattern you know jump on
the bed and start to feel the way you'd
want to feel and then create a new
Association or anchor and if you do this
for ten days ten times a day
you'd be amazed what actually happens
your life that old pattern you won't be
able to go back to it and you'll have a
new pattern the new habit that will help
you know bring you closer to where you
want to be in your life
so this is a really incredible process I
