hey everyone this is stefan from

I'm gonna share through three tools for
managing virtual teams in your online
business now if you're an online
entrepreneur like myself then you're
probably outsourcing you're delegating
you're working on the business not in
the business that's a much smarter way
to work and to build and grow your
business and it allows you to focus on
the most important things in your
business the skill to grow to automate
and create more freedom
so my online business I've got nine
business they're all contractors and
they all work from home okay in some
cases I've got three people that are two
people that live in Vancouver one that's
often Bali right now in some cases they
might come over we might do some work in
person but for the most part my entire
team is virtual I've got contractors
that work for me in the United States
that that work for me in Canada and then
also work for me in countries like the
Philippines okay and so when you have a
team you have to have a way of managing
them and just so happens there's
different tools and resources that are
really beneficial for us and these have
been game changers for me in my business
I have a manager now in my business that
you know we use these tools and they
have made a huge difference in the
efficiency in managing our team okay so
here's the tools I'm gonna give you guys
I'm gonna draw it out here for you guys
on the flip chart the first tool then I
recommend it's called asana asada now
asana is a project management tool
there's other tools or software's that
are similar to this there's Trello
there's a few others that are out there
asana is what I like to use the best
I've used Trello of you some of the
other ones out there as well but asana
is great because it allows you to
basically put in projects in the
different tasks and then assign them to
different people on your team said it
due date for them that there's
commenting underneath there's calendars
you can prioritize things and it's just
a really great way to communicate
effectively with your team you know
before I used a song and everything was
just sending the project details over
Skype or over email and it's just a very
disorganized way of managing projects
whereas using the Sun is great because
again I can put in the project I can
categorize it organize it in efficient
ways I can assign different people I can
create sub tasks rope so for example
certain projects you might work on you
know there might be someone that's
managing the project and then I can
assign the subtasks for different people
on the team and break down what that
project entails so asana is great it's
been a huge game-changer in my business
they have a free plan and they also have
a paid plan as well for me honestly my
team we've got nine people we just use
the free plan we haven't even upgraded
to the paid plan yet and we've been
using it for the last year so I'm sure
we'll get more benefit by upgrading for
it you probably should but just so you
know the free plan of this tool is
amazing
okay so highly recommend asana and we've
tried different ones that are out there
sometimes it's your just a matter of
your preference because I did a lot of
research on the different tools that are
out there too and it really depends on I
guess your business and some of the
projects you have going on but asana has
been great for us okay the number two
tool that I recommend for managing your
virtual team is slack okay slack now a
slack is a software that allows you to
communicate with your team almost like
basically a chat system okay so before
slack I use Skype okay and Skype is fine
just for maybe do it certain video calls
or interviewing people to bring on board
to your team but slack is awesome
because it allows you you and your whole
team to communicate in a more efficient
way now slack is also tool that's free
we just use the free plan for it there's
also a paid plan but it can honestly
I've never even upgraded to the paid
plan and it has been amazing for my
entire team but with slack you could set
up different channels so we have
channels in my business that we break
down different categories of for you
know video for the blog
or pay-per-click advertising for search
engine optimization for events for
products you know all these different
keywords we have different channels and
then based on who's involved in those
projects I invite those people on the
team to have chats and discussions
they're okay and then also the slack you
can share files through it you can even
do calls through it you can do group
group conversations group chats so slack
is amazing it's what a lot of a lot of
internet marketers use with their team
as well and again it's a free tool
highly recommend it okay it's gonna make
make your life much easier these
softwares - they they have a web-based
software that you can access on their
website or you can download an app to
your desktop or even to your mobile
device okay so I use them in all
different ways but I they're they're
just been awesome for me my business the
third tool and this one is is probably
one of my favorites
it's called LastPass LastPass LastPass
is something that you should be using
regardless of if you have a virtual team
or not
LastPass basically is an extension for
your browser that allows you to save and
remember your passwords okay so a lot of
people they have to memorize their
passwords every website they go to they
have to physically type it in they have
to you know sometimes they forget what
their password is and there's a lot of
time that people spend just logging into
things and typing in the username and
password
well LastPass allows you to store
everything you have one master password
and then you have different vaults based
on all the different websites that you
log into now the reason why LastPass is
beneficial for a virtual team is that
when you have a team you're gonna have
to give them access to some of the
websites tools resources that you have
in your online business you know people
on my team they have access to my PayPal
they have access to my Clickbank they
have access to my click funnels to
leadpages to you know basically you know
all the different parts of my business
what is great about LastPass is it
allows you to give login access
to these different websites without
having to give up the password and for
you to remain having control over it
okay so for example with LastPass I can
set up folders I've got a folder for
marketing right and I've got folder for
finances and for you know different
different folders that I have in my
business and then what I do is I add in
all the different logins to that that my
team that I can share with my team so I
can share with let's say let's say that
I hire a web designer for my business
right and I need to give them access to
certain certain websites that I have
well I can I can basically give them
access to the folder that has the
different logins and so that way they
can use LastPass on their computer they
can log in to them I don't have to give
them my password I don't have to have
any risk of them changing the password
or hijacking my account in any way so
they can have access to it then I can
revoke access when they're done with the
job ok so it's just a really amazing way
to have control you know over your
business and be able to share passwords
and logins without actually have to give
up the password and before you'd have to
give the password and then you know
change the password after you know your
revoke access from them and it was just
a huge headache and this is just a great
way to protect yourself even further now
LastPass has a free plan and they have a
paid plan called enterprise that is
something that I've upgraded for and I
do pay for it's been worthwhile for my
business however if you just got one
virtual assistant you know or one or two
and you're not really sharing a lot then
the free plan could be could actually
work for you and be beneficial so look
into LastPass it's been a huge
game-changer for my business and then I
guess if I were to give you one more
tool as a bonus it would be Dropbox or
Google Drive because in any business
with your team we're gonna have to share
documents you're gonna have to share
files you know in my business what we do
is we have Dropbox folders and Google
Drive folders for our logos for for
testimonials for all the different
things that we compile we organize so
that I can we can easily share them with
different people on my team so they can
have
access to it you know even for example
you know on my team we'd have standard
operating procedures for different
systems that we have in the business
well we have that in Google Drive so
that we can share those documents with
all the different people on our teams so
that they can follow the instructions
and have access to that and basically be
able to make sure they're doing their
job correctly so Dropbox Google Drive
great they're also free if you want more
storage with it you can pay more for
them but I've benefited immensely from
both of those and it been really
beneficial for my business so those are
the 3/4 tools that I want to share with
