Can I Do Kindle Publishing If I Live Outside The United States?

hey guys Stefan here from project life
mastery comm in this Kindle Q&A video
I'm gonna answer a question that get
quite frequently which is can I do
Kindle publishing if I live outside of
the United States I get this all the
time because a lot of you guys on my
youtube live outside of the United
States and North America and this person
asks the question actually lives in
Portugal and he says because Amazon
doesn't have a local store in his
country will this work for him and his
specific situation and the answer to
that is there's no restrictions
whatsoever to do Kindle publishing based
on where you live in fact as a part of
the K money mastery program we have
members from all over the world you know
I don't live in the United States either
I live in Canada and I travel a lot too
so you know sometimes I'm in Brazil or
I'm in you know Southeast Asia and I'm
still running my online business doing
Kindle publishing you know we have
members in Australia in Asia all over
Europe Africa South America all over the
world I've never seen any restrictions
whatsoever based on where you live and
the ability to publish books on Kindle
now KDP which stands for Kindle direct
publishing is the department for
publishing books on Kindle and the only
restriction that I've seen potentially
is how you get paid KDP has two
different methods of payment one is by
EFT which is a direct deposit to your
bank account and the other one is
getting paid by check now from what I
understand you know they're changing
this all the time though you know
there's only certain countries that are
allowed to get paid by direct deposit
countries in North America certain
countries in Europe maybe a few other
big countries you can get paid by direct
deposit directly into your bank account
however if your country is not on the
list then that's really not that big of
a deal either cuz you can get paid by
check
so KTP will send you a check every month
with the royalties that you've earned
for your Kindle books now there's also
another way around this as well which is
setting up a Payoneer account ok
Payoneer maybe I'll have a link below
the Payoneer is kind of like a PayPal
it's an online bank account where you
can set it up so that you can have
direct deposits to your Payoneer account
and then you can
and withdraw that money from your parent
your account to your local bank account
or whatever it is that you want so to
answer that question there's no
restrictions whatsoever and they're
always changing things all the time I
remember when I got in the Kindle
publishing I think back in 2011 in 2012
they didn't even allow direct deposit to
residents of Canada you know and they
only recently changed that maybe about
two or three years ago so you know
they're expanding they're growing and
you know they're always making changes
and adaptions as well so hopefully this
answers your question make sure to
subscribe for more videos like this and
I'll talk to you soon
