question that I commonly get which is

can I publish my Kindle books under a

pen name and the answer is yes this is

very common amongst the publishing

industry pen names also known as a

pseudo name it's basically a made-up

name and this is very common especially

among fiction markets fiction authors

and publishers erotica as well you know

Mark Twain is probably the most famous

pen names made-up names out there and so

yes of course you can do this when you

publish your Kindle book and KDP it

gives you the option of selecting the

contributor for your book and so you can

input whatever author name you want you

can make up an author name that's

totally fine and acceptable now you're a

KDP account your Kindle direct

publishing account is it going to be

under your name or your a company name

this is essentially the publishing

company and this is how publishing

companies work you know there's a

publishing company the publishing

company is basically the company it's

publishing books they're hiring ghost

writers they're working with authors and

the publishing companies are the ones

that publish that market you know do all

the selling for the books so that's

essentially what you're creating and

what you're doing as a Kindle publisher

you know my strategy that I've had the

most success with I've written some my

own books but I make more money and have

more success when I hire a ghost writers

to write the books for me because that

gives me the ability to leverage myself

of my time and you know it gives me the

ability more to work on my business and

not work in my business it allows me to

work smarter and not harder and so I

teach you know how I do that inside K

money mastery but I think that's a

smartest way of doing it so when you're

hiring a writer to write your book for

you or you're working with a company to

write your book for you you own a

hundred percent rights of that book it's

no different as if you were to hire a

web designer to design a website for you

you know they don't own the website that

they designed you're paying them and you

own that website that you paid them to

design and create for you if you want

like a logo made up or something like

that the person that creates logo isn't

the one that owns it you're buying it

you're paying

you're paying for the logo from them so

you own a hundred percent of the rights

to that when you own the rights to it

you can do whatever you want with it

so you can publish the Kindle you can

you know use a pen name an anon

anonymous name if you'd like you can use

your publishing company name totally

fine totally acceptable keeps you

anonymous I don't want my followers and

fans to see books that I published that

I've never personally wrote myself right

I only want to put my name behind

something that I actually wrote the

other ones I again I just act as a

publishing company so that's kind of how

I view it you know again it's very very

common and you want to play the role as

a Kindle publishing company not

necessarily the author so yes to answer

your question you can publish under a

pen name a pseudo name very common no

restrictions around that whatsoever just

your KDP account will be under your name

or company name on however you want to

get paid by KDP and that account

information on that stays private so

nobody knows you know what you can have

as many books that you want publishing

and KDP account all under different

author names and everything as well and

so there's no restrictions around that
