ETHIOPIA SCHOOL INAUGURATION | Stefan James Vlog #Best Education Page #Online Earning

ETHIOPIA SCHOOL INAUGURATION | Stefan James Vlog

so we were just arriving at the
community right now no greeting here
they're all singing welcome welcome
welcome welcome welcome welcome guys
this is the most amazing things I've
ever experienced the impact here it's
nothing like this guys nothing like it I
mean we're not even at the community yet
these are all kids have lined up with
signs welcoming us thanking us you got
to be here you got to be here you got to
make a difference
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
so right now we're walking through the
community that we're gonna do an
inauguration for the school whole
community's gotten together to greet us
we've got the military here we've got
the government here government officials
the Prime Minister it's a pretty big
deal so it's pretty exciting there's
hundreds of people here behind us
[Music]
where you got the school so right now
we're gonna visit the old school that
they used to learning and then we're
gonna visit the brand new school that we
just funded so it's pretty exciting this
right here is what a classroom looks
like they just sit on rocks that's right
here behind me is the old school of
where this community is to go to school
where they get their education and as
you can see it's basically this bunch of
sticks and twigs and bushes and that's
how they would learn and in here behind
me is the brand new school that we
funded and built so pretty amazing to
see the difference now these kids can
get a much better education the
community for many generations job well
done and the kids get a playground to
which you're really excited about the
swing set
[Applause]
[Applause]
[Applause]
so you should have can deceive glass so
you can imagine those 700 700 students
and the other students coming from year
to year will be leaders
so you are the father the mothers of
leaders so please give you it's the same
four of them are the same like this and
then visit the library and then we'll
visit the class at low class with four
classrooms that's build in collaboration
of the community and arbitration of this
district and the air force of the
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia
Wow this is one of the new classrooms
soft brush thing
[Music]
[Music]
so you legacy is not only in this school
your legacy is an exemplary legacy for
the community here for the government of
Ethiopia government of ticket for the
Air Force and for the details so you
should proud of you legacy here and I
have been have been being very much
happy with our with our previous works
but it is my happiness goes beyond
that's the previous happiness in this as
so nicely the main score with this
tribute here and you know how hard your
fundraising was to raise $10,000 think
about this community think about the
driveway think about what you can see
around you there's nothing here this is
the community right and they raised all
the money together for with the
government and with
Terry for the southern school block a
fourth classroom that's absolutely
incredible
never happened we and and they had to
give 10% cash for everything else as
well because that's our bottle so let
Michael and I'm I'm moved as well I have
to say by the amount of fundraising and
effort and and the sheer tenacity of
this community think they can do it they
made it go they did
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Music]
so right now we're gonna go see a well
that they built close by to the school
so this is where they can get the water
[Music]
right now it's day 2 and we're going to
another community where we're going to
do it on another inauguration for the
school and on the way we've got a lot of
kids that are here to greet us and
they're standing on the side of the road
and they're shouting welcome welcome and
it's just such an amazing thing so I
want to show you guys so amazing so nice
[Music]
because this district is a whole
district is ours our project area
students become are they
[Music]
yeah you think the kids are there's a
learn here in different village but we
support them between the teachers we
train the pts between just leaders in
the leaders to create an awareness of
education inspires me to supervise
exports
and fulfilling supplies coming across
another community here several unity
pass by and they're all here to support
us and thank us for being here and
supporting helping them with education
what not so it's really cool our driver
yeah
drivers were not lions head
[Music]
- Salam
[Music]
all right today I want us to come out
[Music]
want us to cut the ribbon
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
yeah
[Music]
by
[Music]
that was a welcome right there
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
funny so bad such a mixed reaction
seeing the line the line face driving
the car
[Music]
[Music]
so you got her own private escort here
got guys who are following us with
ak-47s just to make sure that we're safe
and protected
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
all right right now we've arrived in the
community and they're celebrating
[Music]
[Applause]
so cool guys so his music
[Music]
so right now we're gonna go and visit
you're gonna go and visit the school and
everyone's running that way
[Music]
[Applause]
so right now I'm sitting inside we're in
the old classrooms in this classroom
here there be 50 kids over 50 kids that
all sit on the rocks here and crammed
into this classroom and they have no
desks or anything like that so it's not
an ideal circumstance to want to learn
and go to school Edison High School the
cornerstone celebrating the inauguration
of Addison I primary school on October
13 2017
Honorine Coquitlam cactus club traveler
collective Amanda Stefan Tatyana Cara
the dev ji family family Ephraim
district administration the community
Madison I and the generous donors of
imagine one day going inside one of the
classrooms the new school fresh paint
everything smells fresh
it's cool so as you can see they've got
desks chairs a really nice environment
got chalkboards and everything back here
for this year
fifty-six grade five sugars are enrolled
and come to the world of Education
imagine how your tradition and practices
the students are they will be engineers
professors scientists world leaders of
the world so we we just provided this
small team but the big one is how the
students will transform their life their
parents life in their generation and
they just take on the responsibilities
of the government take on the
responsibles of the community and their
country
you got one already got one the books to
the kids to learn excellent English got
Basic English English alphabet each
teacher teach students it's their own
vision and goals for their life so right
here is where some of the goals and the
vision is they have their ten-year goals
five-year goals and one-year goals so
it's just really cool to see that that
they're implementing trying to create a
vision and goals for the laws which is
really awesome this right here is the
cornerstone and the school that we built
right there my name that legacy gone
down in his head we'd immortalized
you
[Music]
[Applause]
so right now it's 7 o'clock in the
morning and we're heading over to the
well where they have to go and pump and
get water they go to the well three
times a day usually the women and they
have to carry these bottles of water
that are sixty five pounds one hour each
way so they walk for an hour they pump
the well to get their water they carry
it back it takes another hour and they
do that three times a day so you can
imagine you know a lot of their day is
spent just making sure that they have
water here we are at the well dressed is
an organization that works here in
charity water is one of their partners
come on in come on in and I want you
guys to pump
[Music]
so here we get a boy with his donkey
carrying two jugs of water from the well
they have a donkey then it obviously was
a huge advantage but not everyone does
so they have to carry these bottles on
their back through this kind of terrain
so right now we're going to class
classroom
you're gonna join a class with all the
kids here get a find somewhere to sit I
don't want to be late so I want you to
say hello say hello
