Fitbit Review - The #1 Wireless Pedometer, Activity And Sleep Tracker

stay calm in this video I want to share
with you a review of my new favorite
product called Fitbit is this little
device right here and it's actually a
wireless pedometer that has a lot of
really cool amazing features to it which
I'm going to go into in this video but I
originally heard about Fitbit from Tony
Robbins he is really big on it talks a
lot about it Tim Ferriss of the book the
4-hour body he raves about it also and
so I really wanted to get my hands on it
just going to see what it was about and
it's essentially a wireless pedometer
that you wear either on your your belt
your pants your Shores inside your
pocket you can even attach it to your
your bra strap or whatever and what it
does is it tracks all of your activity
throughout the day so it tracks how many
steps that you've taken even activity
you've just move around on the couch or
on the bed or whatever it's going to
track it's going to track how active you
are through the day how many calories
you burned and then also how many steps
and how many floors that you've climbed
through the day and I found it to be
really beneficial because it really
motivates you it helps to be aware of
how much you're moving and how much you
need to move in order to really reach
your health and fitness goals and so I
found myself being more motivated to
take the stairs instead of an elevator
to walk to places a lot more instead of
drive or take taxis or whatever and it's
really ain't just encouraged me to be
more active and fit especially for the
summertime and I live in a city like
Vancouver which it's a big walking city
I live downtown and so I walk all over
the place and it just tracks everything
and then the cool thing about it is it
automatically wirelessly syncs to your
computer and it uploads everything onto
their website and so you're able to go
onto their website and see over the last
month or however long or even that day
how much you've moved how many steps
you've taken how many calories you've
burned it sets daily goals for yourself
and you can set your own goals for
yourself it even tracks you know your
weight loss and everything so you can
track how much away in everything they
actually have something called Fitbit
area which is a scale that wirelessly
syncs with the website also and so you
can actually track your body fat your
weight and everything automatically
syncs to the website and that way every
day you
just see the progress that you're making
you can see how much you're moving how
much you know you're moving closer
towards your weight loss goals and
everything and it's just been really
cool I've really enjoyed it been using
it every day for a while now and then a
benefit of it as well as it tracks your
sleep and so this little device here
comes with a wristband that you attach
what you're sleeping and it tracks the
quality of your sleep and so it will
tell you what times during the night
that you woke up or you moved around and
just kind of give you an overall rating
for your sleep and based on that you can
really improve your sleep and just
improve the efficiency you see how long
you're sleeping reduce your sleep if you
want wake up there's different cycles
that you know you're supposed to sleep
in and so making sure you wake up and
the right cycles of your sleep is really
beneficial also but I just found some
really cool product it's really
benefiting me a lot I'd pick with me
everywhere they actually have a new
device called the Fitbit flex which is
just a wristband that you just wear
every everywhere you go this is called a
Fitbit one that i have here and i love
it so i want to share with you a screen
capture of just my computer and just
have the data that I've accumulated now
for the last while i'm using this
product on their website that's
automatically synced and now what you
can just going to see more about it and
everything and if you want to check it

blog post and i highly recommend that
you do is very inexpensive it's
benefited me in so many ways it's great
for summer and it's just really great
just to be aware of everything that
you're doing throughout the day the
activity levels and just really
motivates you so that's it for now i'm

okay so right now i'm logged into the
dashboard at fitbit com and fitbit will
automatically sync my device with their
website and upload everything as long as
I'm within proximity to my computer and
so all this data is just automatically
tracked and stored on your website which
is really great and very helpful you can
see here for Thursday May sixteenth it
tracks how many calories that I burned
that day so around 2,400 calories how
many steps I've taken or how much
activity really is what it is so around
six thousand steps the distance that
travels around 4.41 co
commoners and you can also see over the
last 30 days or is however long you want
and so I've been pretty active and
pretty consistent with exercise and
keeping my activity levels pretty high
because of this device it will tell you
how many steps you've taken over the
last 30 days as the calories that I
burned there it will even track your
food that's something you have to
manually enter but it's just great to
have one place where you can track
everything track your weight if you have
the Fitbit area you can automatically
sync that with your weight to this
website your sleep Journal heart rate
all this kind of information here it's
going to look at my sleep here real
quick so first on Thursday May sixteenth
you're going to see what time i went to
bed so i went to bed at 124 m it took me
thirty three minutes to fall asleep that
day I woke up nine times and it's going
to tell me just with these red marks
here what times of the night that
actually woke up and so give me an
overall sleep efficiency which is around
ninety-seven percent which is pretty
good but it's just really interesting to
see you know what times you woke up and
everything just to analyze or sleep so
you can be more efficient with it so I
was in bed for about seven and a half
hours and my actual sleep time was six
hours and 51 minutes and this is just
really useful for me because I've really
been big on learning about the cycles of
sleep and everything and I actually want
to reduce my sleep in different ways
while keeping my energy and product
productivity levels really high and this
has allowed me to track everything
especially when you have a journal here
to you can track how you felt that day
your mood and everything and so this is
really cool you can also see over the
last 30 days you know your times woken
up and everything just the quality of
sleep so amazing tool just for tracking
and analyzing all that stuff if you're
into this stuff like me and it's
definitely helped me get better results
with fitness health and it's just a
really cool gadget to have so if you
