master comm in this video I want to talk
to you guys about how to build a blog
that is profitable a lot of people they
want to get into blogging and they want
to build a blog you know it's a fun kind
of business or lifestyle to have and
people want to know how can I actually
make money from it and how can I build
it up so that I have a huge audience of
people and then I can reach people and
make money from it travel the world
and blogging is great I love it but it's
a very challenging way to actually make
money from and you have to be extremely
committed to it for the long term it's a
very it's a long process you have to be
really patient with and I want to share
with you guys a little bit more about
what I did and some kind of pieces of
advice and tips for you if you want to
start a blog and kind of go in that
direction first thing to understand is
that a blog is not an immediate source
of income it's a long-term source of
income because the blog takes a while to
build up it takes a while before you can
build an audience you can get a lot of
traffic to it and at that point you can
start to make money from it monetize it
the big mistake that people make is they
go into a blog with the intention of
trying to make money from it and when I
created my blog I didn't have that
intention at all for me doing these
videos and this blog was just like a
side project a hobby for me to share
things that I was learning in my life
because when I shared them and kind of
put them on internet it helped me learn
the better you know I learned stuff
better by sharing it to you guys because
you know it just helps reinforce it in
my brain and I understand things a lot
better by sharing it so I didn't have
the intention to making money at all in
any way I started my blog also just kind
of tracking my my fitness competition my
progress reports because I wanted to
share that with people and be
accountable to that and so I didn't have
that intention at all and I think when
people have the intention to making
money from it
because it takes months before you start
to see money from it people get
discouraged and they give up brats for
me I didn't expect any money to come
from my blog I didn't even care if
anybody read or watch it in my videos I
was just doing it for fun because I
enjoyed it okay so that's the that's a
better mindset my payment comes from his
don't approach it thinking you're gonna
make money from it of course down the
road you can make money from it but that
shouldn't be your intention right away
your primary intention on your blog is
that basically add as much value as you
can to people by adding a lot of great
value and helping people they're gonna
start to follow your blog okay at the
beginning stages of a blog do not worry
about how it looks you're not worried
about advertising
do not worry about Google Ads do you
don't worry about affiliate links forget
all that stuff okay because it's useless
it's a waste of time because nobody's
even going to your blog anyways you
don't even have any visitors to your
blog at the beginning and so no one's
gonna even click on your links or
anything like that the goal at the
beginning is to build audience build a
following once you have the following
and you can start to introduce some of
the strategies to monetize those people
okay and they actually make money from
your blog generally when you add ad
advertisements to your blog and you try
to monetize it actually turns people off
anyways and at the beginning you just
want to get as many followers as you can
so that's why you do not want to turn
them off in any way by having
advertisements all that stuff on it okay
so
forget about that stuff 90% of your time
blogging is essentially high-quality
content that's the secret sauce high
quality content more high quality
content you have out there then the more
people are going to want to follow you
once they read your stuff and they're
going to subscribe to you and they're
gonna keep checking back for more if you
have crappy content that is no good I
don't care how you market your blog you
can pay for advertisements you can do
whatever nobody's going to come back and
keep reading it because your fault your
content sucks okay so it has to be
really high quality stuff in my case I
spend hours literally hours doing these
videos for you guys okay I'll record
this video here right now I'm in the
scorching Sun I'm getting a sunburn
sometimes my videos aren't perfect I
might have to recut them and I'm gonna
have to go and edit them you know make
it look nice and everything and then I
write a long blog post with it which
generally takes me a couple hours to
write it goes into everything a lot more
detail I turn into a podcast each blog
post I put up takes me several hours of
my time okay and when you're first
blogging at the beginning it's gonna
cost you a lot of time and guess what
you're not gonna make any money for that
time that you're investing into it but
you're building an asshead that's gonna
make you money down the road and
essentially you're spending all those
hours building something a blog and
articles that nobody's going to read the
only people are gonna read them on your
friends and family
so it takes a few months I'm just doing
that high-quality content again again
again again after a few months you'll
slowly start to build a following okay
you'll slowly start to have people and
start to follow you and sort of comment
starts a message you and that's that
could happen me at the beginning nobody
watched my videos and then after a while
you know I started getting more views I
had some videos that started to go viral
like my morning ritual my life plan
thousands of people started going to
that dope then everyone started coming
to my blog I built followers you know my
contents are ranking and the search in
Google and everything people started
liking it sharing it on Twitter and
Facebook and so essentially it kind of
hit a tipping point where everything
just kind of took off at a certain point
and I started getting you know a hundred
visitors a day and then 200 visitors a
day and in a few months after that you
know five hundred and thousand visitors
a day and now my blog gets over two
thousand visitors a day just by going
through the exact process and now my
blog makes me a lot of money and I've
been able to monetize it in so many ways
but it was a process okay at the
beginning I did not make any money it
was very challenging it hard but I just
did it because I loved it I enjoyed it
and essentially once you get maybe a
hundred visitors a day that's when you
want to start to look at how you can
monetize it and there's a lot of
different ways that I don't have time to
go into this video but you can set up an
email list so they can subscribe to you
build up my list they can promote
different products you can do reviews of
different products on your blog you
could have affiliate links in your blog
posts you could offer mini coaching
service
aving create your own product and create
your own Kindle book which I highly
recommend for you to keep it low credit
yourself because those followers that
they like your content information and
they're gonna want it their big risk and
want to know more and they're going to
easily buy your books and products
because they love with the stuff that
you're doing so there's a lot of ways to
make money from it you can do
advertising Google Ads gate
advertisements there's a lot of ways to
monetize it but only once you have the
traffic and follow it ok wait give it at
least three months maybe six months of
consistently blogging before you even
consider monetizing okay it's a great
course called start a blog that matters
that really helped me I'm actually going
through it twice now and it can help you
set up a blog and make money from
blogging and if you just follow this
guy's advice
his name's Corbett Barr I will do good
and he hasn't moved by a week how you
can set up your blog and make money from
it really good course help me build my
blog to where it is today but I will say
that blogging is very enjoyable it's fun
it's one of the most fulfilling things
that I do doesn't feel like work for me
I do it at 10 o'clock at night because I
just love it it's just so fun creating
these videos for you guys and putting on
content I personally didn't care if
anybody even comments on anything but I
just do it for the love of it not for
any recognition or any status or even to
make money for meit's do because I
really love enjoyed doing it and it
benefits my life in so many ways as well
