to day I'm going to share with you how
to stop being lazy in your life and
really how to get yourself and towards
taking massive action towards the goals
the dreams and the vision that you have
you're more productive than you ever
have before and I'm gonna share with you
three strategies three techniques that
you can apply that are practical right
after this video that can get you into
action and make sure that you overcome
being lazy in your life in fact one of
them one of these strategies I'm going
to do with you right here while I have
your attention as you're watching and
listening because I want to make sure
that you leave this video doing the
things that you know you should do but
you're not doing them the things that
you're procrastinating on now
I'm very familiar with laziness because
I used to be lazy for most of my life to
give you some background when I was in
high school I used to skip school a lot
really did my homework rarely studied
hated school I used to be addicted to
video games so I just spent all my time
playing video games all day on my
playstation or on my computer I used to
watch a lot of TV a lot of movies and I
was just looking for a life of comforts
and by the way comfort is the enemy of
execution comfort is the enemy of a
great life because as long as you are
comfortable you're not going to grow if
you're not growing you're dying if
you're not growing you're not going to
feel happy so we need to grow and evolve
and that's really what you know what
action allows you to do by taking action
allows you to make progress in your life
rather than just sitting around all day
and being lazy most often how do you
feel about yourself when you're sitting
around all day when you're not doing the
things you know you should do most often
your self-esteem does it go up or does
it go down most often goes down because
you feel guilty you feel like you're not
making a progress that you want to make
you're not doing the things for your
body your health your relationships your
career your finances that are really
meaningful for you and so most often
there's a disconnect there's an inner
conflict that people have that they have
the desires and goals but they're not
doing it so let me share a few the first
solution to this okay the first thing
that I believe that everybody needs if
you want to transform yourself and being
lazy to being productive because by the
way I'm no longer lazy in my life I'm
the opposite of it I've definitely
solved that problem in my life
because now today I mean I've achieved
so much of my life and I don't want to
go into success or anything like that
but I've done pretty well I'm proud of
myself but I've done some incredible
things I've done fitness competitions
and I've made millions of dollars online
it built a great business that I'm proud
of and not saying that to impress anyone
and saying it cuz it impresses me I'm
proud of myself for that but I just want
to demonstrate for you that you can
change you know and I'm gonna show you
some of the things that I did that made
me change and help me to be productive
and taking action so number one the
first solution to this is you've got to
have a vision and goals that excite you
you've got to have a vision that's
that's so compelling for you and your
life that you're so excited for you you
you associate so much pleasure to this
vision this life that you could have
that's a dream that you link pleasure to
it and that pulls you towards it it's
almost like it's effortless because
you're being pulled rather than pushing
yourself to do things when you don't
really know why you're doing it or what
you're doing it for you know so often
people you know I remember for me when I
was in school for example I was lazy
because I didn't know what the purpose
of taking action was I'm doing my
homework of going to school I didn't
have a why didn't have a purpose for
doing it and if you don't have a purpose
for doing it you don't understand the
benefit that it can give you and your
link and pain to it then you're not
gonna follow through so procrastination
is when you link pain to doing the thing
that you know you should do and you're
associating pleasure to not doing it
pleasure just playing video games and
watching movies and you know screwing
around and all that so the first
strategy the first thing you need is a
vision okay when was the last time that
you really just spent a few hours and
you maybe journal that went out in
nature and you just really ask yourself
what do I want from my life what is the
vision that I have for my life if I
could have my life any way that I want
it to be what would that be you know you
really got to be like a kid because if
you ask a kid what they want to be when
they grow up or what they want for their
life they have no problem telling you
what that is you know they're gonna tell
you that they want to be an astronaut
that they want to be a firefighter that
they want to be an engineer or a
scientist or the president or whatever
that is they don't have those
limitations that most often we get as we
get older in life as you get older as an
adult and you've experienced some pain
and you've had some disappointments that
you know the unfortunate thing is a lot
of people they let
Payan dictate their future that because
they experience pain they give up on
their goals in their vision they think
why even bother why even try that when I
did dream when I did go for it it didn't
work out the way that I wanted to and so
they allow the past to determine their
future you've got to be very careful
with that you've got to put yourself in
a state where you ask yourself what do I
want from my life whatever what am I
doing this for
and why do I want that you know if you
find it strong enough why the how will
take care of itself so really that's the
first thing that you need to really
discover if you want to get off your
house and get done and be
productive and be motivated is what do
you want spend a few hours create your
vision write it out make it so
compelling so exciting
that there's no right or wrong answer
it's what you want and what you want
might be totally different than what I
want
so get clear on that open up your mind
to different possibilities that could
exist for your life if if you just dream
big enough and you go for it you take
action towards it because everything is
possible whatever the mind can conceive
and believe it can achieve okay so
that's really where it starts is what
you want why you want it okay ask
yourself those questions but you find it
strong enough why
you'll feel pulled towards doing doing
what you want doing the things that are
necessary to get you there because all
the discomforts that you face along the
way all the ups and downs all those
things you're procrastinating on they'll
be so insignificant compared to your
desire and your why and your purpose
behind why what you're doing what you're
doing
the most successful people they have a
mission in their life it's not like it's
a job or work for them it's their
mission it's their purpose and they do
it you know many billionaires for
example they don't have to work anymore
they're still doing it not for the money
because it's their mission they have a
strong-enough why and vision behind why
they're doing what they're doing you tap
into that you're gonna tap into your
drive you tap into that you're gonna be
unstoppable
okay and your Y will change you always
going to reconnect with it and find what
that is and ask yourself why am I doing
this associate to that that's step
number one number two is you're going to
understand how pain and pleasure works
like I said before the reason why you're
lazy is that you associate in your mind
doing the things that you know
we should do as painful as uncomfortable
as challenging as hark and you've made
all that up in your head and you're
associating pleasure to the things are
doing to distract yourself the way that
you got to change this and we're gonna
do this right now is you have to link
and associate in your mind to the
consequences the consequences the pain
of not doing what you know you should do
you have to link pain to being lazy pain
to procrastinating pain to staying stuck
and staying where you are so much pain
that you hit a threshold you see the
truth can set you free you might have
heard that before if you can get to the
truth you can change anything in your
life but the challenge is that most
people they never get there
most people they tell themselves stories
about why you know why it's okay that
they don't do it they sugarcoat it to
say oh you know I can do it tomorrow
tomorrow never comes by the way if you
notice that I'm gonna do it tomorrow or
I'm still young or I'm you know I don't
have the money at the time I can do it
later they put it off and sure enough
what happens is that things build up to
a point where eventually you inevitably
you experience the pain and the
threshold that things get so painful you
hit rock-bottom that you finally get to
doing it you get to take an action so
don't wait for that to happen I believe
that right now you've got to associate
to the consequences in your life and
what it's costing you right now in your
life by not taking action so let me ask
you a few questions number one by you
being lazy right now if there's
something right now you can think of
that you know you should do that you're
not doing it what would that be okay
what would that be okay great you got it
let me ask you this what is it costing
you right now in your life by not doing
what you know you should do maybe for
you it's going to the gym maybe for you
it's building your business maybe for
you it's taking care of your health
maybe for you it's you know managing
your finances or getting out there to
meet someone right like what is that
costing you right now in your life
what's the consequence see the more
willingness you have to be a little bit
disturbed or satiated or experience the
pain the more likely you are to link the
pain to being lazy so you got to be
honest with yourself with this so what
is it costing right now it's costing you
your self-esteem your confidence
right because if you know you're not
taking action in your life you're not
gonna feel good about yourself you know
if you do have a goal or a dream you're
gonna think why even bother why go for
it because in my past I've never made
anything happen before so you're not
gonna have the confidence and
certainties so it's hurting your
self-esteem right now you're not gonna
feel good about yourself that's what
that's one thing that's costing you but
what else
maybe it's costing you your health and
the energy that you could have right now
you could have so much more energy than
ever before if you really put the
attention to focus on your body and by
taking care of your energy you're gonna
have more energy to give more and do
more and achieve more and enjoy more
you're gonna be happier you know what's
the cost of right now I'm not working on
your business and your goals and your
dream are you gonna have another day of
regret in your life you know wondering
what what your life could have been or
what you know that dream that you have
and the goals that you have for yourself
and not seeing them being actualized
does that really make it happy doesn't
that kind of disturb you a little bit I
know so well how is it what is it cost
me maybe you're right now struggling
you're in an apartment or a home and a
lifestyle that you're not really proud
of and you know that can that should
disturb you a little bit you know live
looking around and saying you know I
deserve more than this you know this is
not acceptable for me to live my life
this way when there's possibilities that
exist where people are financially free
and traveling the world and living
incredible homes and the credible
lifestyles and that's possible and Here
I am settling in my life for mediocrity
you know so that should disturb you a
little bit what is it costing maybe for
example your relationships if you're in
a relationship right now is the man or
woman that you're with are they proud of
you you know when they look at you are
they inspired by your example and your
leadership and how you're showing up in
your life you know or if you're trying
to attract a man or woman I mean are
they gonna be attracted to someone like
you is lazy and doesn't do what they say
it doesn't do anything with their life
you know in fact you might even miss all
out on that perfect man or a woman
because of this pattern because of this
habit that you have of leaving laziness
you know imagine the man or woman that
is there available for you that's their
soul mate but they're not gonna want to
be with someone that's showing up the
way you are right so I want you to ask
yourself and I'm trying to disturb you a
little bit if you don't mind as your
coach as your friend I'm trying to get
you a little bit disturbed on this right
because most people again they sugarcoat
it and they of
avoid pain the pain the truth can set
you free we got to be honest with
ourselves what is it costing you right
now in your life number two what does it
already cost you in your past
okay maybe alright now because of this
habit of laziness right now today you
could have more money more success more
freedom more happiness more energy a
better body a better relationship right
now if you had solved this a year ago
three years five ten years ago so look
at all that you've missed out on your
life by living the way you've been
living right now this habit of laziness
are you willing to continue living your
life this way that for the next five 10
years missing out on more missing out on
more happiness enjoying money and all
the things that you want to have yours
go buying your life remains the same
they're not making progress whereas
everyone else around you they're
achieving they're doing their move you
know moving ahead in their life and
making progress and you're still stuck
you know imagine if your life was you
know ten years from now what that would
be like for you you know twenty years
from now maybe when your 30s or 40s or
50 or 60 years old and you're still
lazy in your life you're still
can't get yourself to do you're
still making the same amount of money
that you did before you still got the
same body maybe a worse body or you know
maybe you're going through a divorce or
whatever it is all because of this habit
of laziness I mean is that what you want
is that what's acceptable for you so
really what I'm trying to do here and
what hopefully you're trying to do right
now as I ask you these questions is I
want you to link pain to being lazy it's
not until you get to the point where you
hit a threshold man when you get to a
point you hit rock-bottom
you decide you know what this pain is so
intense I'm no longer gonna live my life
this way anymore because the pain of
just doing this damn thing I've just
taken action is so minimal compared to
the pain of a regret in my life the pain
of mediocrity the pain of staying where
I am right it's not tell you make that
pain of laziness so much greater than
the pain I've just taken action that the
pain of not doing it will consume it and
you're gonna get yourself into action
because you're not gonna settle anymore
for this life that you're living right
now you're not gonna settle anymore for
laziness in your life because it's
costing you too much your whole life is
on the line and are you going to
continue living your life with this way
you should get to the point where you
hit that breaking point and you're like
hell no
know that pain will drive you that pain
will fuel the fire within yourself to
get into action and what you really got
to do here is you've got to use this
technique as you go when you catch
yourself falling back into the habit of
being lazy just ask yourself what does
this cost to me being lazy right now
what am I missing out on my in my life
what's the consequence of living my life
this way what would my life be like in
five or ten years if I continue to live
the way that I am right now okay so you
link pain but then also what you got to
do is I want you to link pleasure to
take an action pleasure towards being
productive pleasure towards doing the
things that you know you should do
pleasure towards that process pleasure
towards your goals and your dreams
that's going to create the pull of fat
you're going to feel pulled towards
doing what you know you know you need to
do so here's the question what pleasure
and benefit will you get in your life
right now by taking action on doing the
things you know you should do that thing
that you're procrastinating on right now
what pleasure benefit will that provide
for your life
what is it be honest with yourself okay
well probably number one your
self-esteem will go up because don't you
notice every time that you do the things
that you know you should do you feel
good about yourself like nobody ever
goes to the gym and then they come home
they feel bad about themselves that they
went to the gym everyone that goes to
the gym they're like yeah I went to the
gym their self-esteem improves you know
or every time you do your morning ritual
you do something good for yourself or
you sit down for 30 minutes and you read
a book or you meditate or you pray or
you spend an hour working on your
business when you take actions that are
in alignment with the life you want your
self-esteem goes up you feel better
about yourself you know what happens you
get into momentum the better that you
feel about yourself the more likely you
are to take action the more the more
pleasure that you experience from it
that it leads to you taking more action
and be more productive that's how this
works right so your self-esteem goes up
your confidence goes up your happiness
goes up you know by doing this
specifically will improve your body will
improve your relationships will improve
your finances your business your goals
and your dreams you know maybe just
doing this is going to make you more
discipline more productive a stronger
human being right your training
to do the things that you got to do even
we don't feel like doing it because if
you always wait till you feel like it
you're never gonna do it so what's the
pleasure what's the benefit okay so use
the pain and pleasure okay that's
technique number two number three the
last one is accountability cuz listen
there's times when you know you're not
gonna feel like doing it listen I get it
I pin there before many times myself but
that's really where you need help see
most people are going through life and
they're not asking for help they're
going about it alone I don't know anyone
who has ever become successful by
themselves everyone that I know who is
successful has had a coach a mentor a
mastermind and accountability group
they've been in proximity with other
people that hold them to a higher
standard because the quality of your
life is in direct proportion to the
expectations of your peer group you guys
from Tony Robbins when you're in a peer
group you're around other people they
have high standards high expectations
they're productive they're not lazy you
raise up to that automatically because
you take on their beliefs and their
mindset it elevates you so the simplest
thing that you can do okay find an
accountability buddy
call a friend find someone in a Facebook
group online I've got my project life
mastery global community on Facebook
join our group we got thousands of
people from all over the world I'll link
to it below for you guys but join a
Facebook group or be a part of a
community and then find someone who's
like-minded who's also motivated that
wants to make this change in their life
work out a deal with them and say hey
listen every single morning at seven
o'clock in the morning we're gonna call
each other on the phone on skype on
zoom' we're gonna hop on a quick
5-minute call all we're gonna do is
we're gonna share three things that
we're committed to doing for that day
okay three things that's it you're not
gonna give in your whole to-do list the
three most important high leverage
things that you want to be accountable
for you share that with your buddy okay
you say to them listen I'm gonna hold
you accountable to what you're gonna do
you're gonna hold me accountable here's
the deal if I commit to doing these
three things but I don't do it okay then
there's got to be a consequence if I
break my commitment I will pay ten
dollars to a charity of your choice for
every commitment that I break now for
you maybe ten bucks isn't much it's not
going to create pain for you
it is okay maybe you got to find a
different thing like that but that's the
simplest thing that you can do and then
what you do is either later on that day
and that evening you do another call
with them and you do a check-in or you
do it the next morning when you do your
next call and you say okay what did you
do what didn't you do if you did do it
you got to celebrate it you acknowledge
it your word yourself because whatever
it gets rewarded it gets repeated
okay that's worth writing down whatever
it gets rewarded will get repeated you
acknowledge you reward each other for
that and then you also men make another
commitment for that day so now you're
not just accountable to yourself where
you can back out of your commitment you
can say I don't feel like it you're not
gonna show up you're not going to do it
now you're accountable to someone else
so that's the simplest thing you could
do an accountability buddy or maybe it's
a mastermind group where you meet with
them every week or every month either
online or in person or maybe you got a
coach or a mentor that is coaching you
on a weekly basis to make sure that you
are following through and holding you
accountable all the most successful
people all top professional athletes and
top performers have coaches why a coach
gets more out of them out of the ever
could have on their own right LeBron
James Michael Jordan were incredible
athletes and still are but what's
allowed them to go to that next level
was having a great coach right the coach
is what pushed them to that next level
to get that extra 10 20 percent of
themselves that they couldn't get out of
themselves on their own okay so that's
how you overcome laziness and get
yourself being consistent and taking
massive action so remember what I said
knowing what your vision is what you
want why you want it associate to that
number two is associate pain to laziness
and not doing the things you know you
should do and pleasure to the process of
doing it okay number three is get
accountability whether that's a buddy a
mastermind or a coach so put that into
