hey guys Stephanie here from Project
webmaster calm I'm in Quito Ecuador
right now and I've got a few minutes
right now and they thought I'd make a
little video blog to show you guys how I
plan out my day in about 5 minutes it's
a really fast process and you know some
people Nath asking me about this so my
plans will make a video that I kind of
walk you guys through it and this is
exactly what I do every single day a
single morning just to plan and prepare
for my day so got a little notebook here
okay this is a journal that I had with
me with with me always I always like to
of used computers and stuff like that
but I find just the act of writing it
down in a journal that actually
reinforces it into your brain a lot more
it becomes more real for you as opposed
to typing something so I have got on my
book here and that this book is
essentially United zipper notes you know
if I have some ideas I'll write it out
if I'm doing some business stuff with
for coaching calls or if I'm reading a
book or just you know if I hear a
certain idea I looked is journal about
it and write it down actually have so
many these journals in my apartment that
like a whole bookshelf full ramen it's
also useful is to go back to you and
it's gonna relay of certain things and
just kind of recapture certain moments
or night deals and certain experiences
so the notebook here so the first thing
is the date so today is November 9 2012
something right that at the top now
there's a basically a three step system
that I follow for planning my goals and
planning my life and the first most
important thing is I always have an
outcome always have some sort of gold
I'm achieving or then after it's
essentially asked answering the question
what do you want so for me I have
certain outcomes and every year in my
life if you haven't seen my life plan
video blog yet make sure you watch that
because it really goes into detail about
how to plan your entire life and all the
details of that so I have certain goals
and outcomes I always pursuing and I
always like to break down and move
towards 3-month goals and then also I
break that down into monthly goals as
well so
I'm gonna put it like a monthly go here
but let's say that my goal is just as an
example for this video is my goal is I
will make my goal is to make eighty four
hundred dollars a month passive income
by the end of the month okay so I would
phrase that in a certain way so when I
write the phrase my goals is I will
easily make eighty four hundred dollars
a month passive income and enjoy the
process by December 1st 2012 okay so I'm
gonna quickly write that out I'm gonna
show it to you guys okay so now I've got
this row right here counter if you can
see this or not
although blog posts with this as well
but the key words here is you know I
have it
I haven't stated in a sense that I will
achieve this you know there's no
question in my mind whether or not I
will or will not achieve that goal it's
of course I'm gonna cheapen I have that
kind of certainty with everything that I
do in my life none of you are as easily
I would easily achieve this and I find
just the language of that really
empowers you on a different level
because a lot of people may have these
girls they think of it as being hard or
difficult challenging overwhelming
stressful painful and that's not a good
way to look at it but when I phrase it
as I will easily achieve it that totally
changes the whole outcome that half of
the school I have a specific amount of
money than I'm after okay so that's
another really important piece is my
goal is specific you know e to 400 hours
my passive income here's the other key
phrase I will enjoy the process of it so
that's so huge man I actually learned
this from a coach that I had and I just
had no new coaching : that and we just
kind of went over my goals now those two
little phrases I would easily and enjoy
the process change and everything for me
now is a huge huge game-changer and all
my goals always make sure that I
language in the way that really empowers
me and inspires so you know I usually
make 8401 passive income and enjoy the
process by December 1st 2012 so all my
girls always have a deadline they have
to have a deadline because you don't
have a deadline
it's it's not gonna happen it's not
going to come true and then he thought
they'd say that's a difference between a
dream and a goal is a dream is something
that doesn't have a deadline whereas a
goal is specific and you have an actual
deadline for when that's gonna happen so
I would like to have a three-month
deadline and also a monthly deadline and
also have a yearly deadlines as well
okay so that's the first step of the
process so knowing that my outcome is
number two what I'd like to do is I
always think about why do I want this to
go why why do I want to achieve this
what are the reasons that I have to
follow through and make this happen why
is this a must for me and every day I
challenge myself to come up with more
and more reasons why I'm after this goal
and that's such an important piece you
know reasons come first answers come
second if you have a strong enough
reason to achieve something you will
always find a way to make it happen
you know if you have a strong enough why
then the hell will take care of itself
there's a lot of things I've pursued in
my life that I didn't know how was gonna
happen I didn't have the strategy or the
steps but I was so committed to it such
a compelling reason why that had just
motivated and inspired me to find the
way to make the way to actually achieve
that goal so I'll think about three
reasons in a while I want this and the
real reasons we have the better and the
more inspiring the more the more pain
and pleasure that you use the more
likely you are to achieve it as well so
the example that you know I asked myself
can want to achieve this goal maybe is
to you know be financially free maybe
it's to travel the world and let's say
you know it's to contribute gift others
now tomorrow when I go through this same
process I'm gonna write down the same
goal that's not gonna change but my
reasons why are gonna change slightly
because I like to mix it up but like
that I always just kind of think about
new ways new ways to inspire myself and
be motivated towards Michael okay so I
got that right here I don't you can see
it get out the blog post about it this
is what I want my outcome in specific
it's measurable it's attainable it's got
a timeline three reasons why of course
the more
better but I only - I don't want to take
up the whole page either and then the
next step the last step on my actions
okay so I basically planned out think
about can one of the actions that I need
to take to achieve this goal for today
so I'll just make a list I'll just kind
of capture this brainstorm all the
things I need to get done so you know
just as an example let's say you know
reply to emails you know work work with
VA my virtual assistant with sales pages
you know fix you know website whatever
skinflints putting down random kind of
things you know update my finances let's
say you know maybe like this like read a
book or something had read 30 minutes of
whatever about my pens dying why is this
always happen to me my videos of pens if
you watch my morning ritual video you'll
understand okay okay you know let's
basically make a list of certain actions
um you know it's maybe a site do
graphics for website maybe it's like
call this person back you know whatever
right so I'll make a whole list okay
I'll just capture all the things I need
to get done just get it out of my brain
and on paper the next step that you is I
like to prioritize this list okay a some
really really important piece so I'll go
through that meeting my list
I'll prioritize it in the order of
importance I really ask myself can what
are the highest leverage things here
what are the things are the most
important to get done that are gonna
produce the biggest results of my life
and I know I don't know if you're
familiar with the 80/20 principle but it
basically states that 20% of your
actions are gonna produce 80% of the
results okay so I'm just list here that
I have only 20% of the things I've
listed aren't gonna produce 80% of the
results of it she actually achieving
this goal you know so as great as it is
to read 30 minutes of this book or maybe
reply to emails and stuff like that that
might not be the highest leverage thing
that's gonna help and make sure that I
reach that goal may be the highest
leverage thing is getting a sales letter
done or it's you know
setting up a sales funnel on my one of
my websites or maybe it's come back this
person the potential client for a
business deal or something like that
right
those are the things that are going to
produce those results them after right
and a lot of people what they do is they
focus all their time on doing a little
that's stuff that doesn't really
matter that they just do it just to get
a sense of accomplishment build some
confidence that feel like they're
doing something when the reality is
they're not they're just busy being busy
you know they're not actually making
progress towards their their goals
they're just replying to emails and
stuff and they're not actually getting
ahead or just kind of maintaining where
they are and so I was thinking about the
first things I need to get done in order
of priority are the highest leverage
things the things actually gonna get me
towards my goals
okay so I'll actually number them down
the list on a scale from like one to ten
okay so number one is the most important
thing any need to get done then I'll go
to number two number three number four
so number my whole list
okay prioritize it and then what I also
do is I put a star okay just kind of
like a star next day whatever actions
are the most important one so I like to
pick three of them each day three really
high leverage actions I like to get done
and basically once I have that done once
I have those three things and I have the
rest of the list it doesn't necessarily
matter whether or not I get everything
done because I usually write down way
more things then it's actually realistic
realistic to get done in a day but as
long as I get done the highest leverage
things then I feel good about myself I
know that making progress and I always
make sure that right after I'm done
planning this I just jumped right into
it you know I'm not answering emails and
not doing I'm not reading a book or
something I'm just getting right into
the most important thing is getting a
stuff done and then once I've got it out
of the way then I can move on and kind
of get up get done all the little stuff
okay so that's essentially it guys
that's my process my daily planning
process
pretty simple straight for it I don't
want to spend too much time on it but
will do is I have other outcomes as well
so that's my financial one and also kind
of make a new page or kind of maybe put
it underneath what my fitness outcome is
or don't come in a relationship or my
family or friends or a spiritual outcome
or an emotional one
whatever the outcomes that I have and
again look at my life plan
video blog that I put up I have
different goals that I'm always moving
towards and so my Fitness one will be
something similar you know I might write
down I will easily lose five pounds by
the end of the month specific you know
our language in the way that this really
inspires me I have my reasons why but
then I have my actions know maybe it's
workout today or follow a certain diet
plan or read a certain book or measure
my body fat or whatever you know
whatever those actions are so that's
essentially you guys hope you enjoyed
