traffic to a sales page okay very very
simple but important and very powerful
and effective now first and foremost
traffic there's many different ways of
getting traffic online I'm gonna maybe
go through a list of them all maybe open
up something at the end and just kind of
go through a list of the different
traffic generation ideas out there but
the traffic can be from Google in terms
the traffic can be for from Facebook or
Twitter or Instagram or LinkedIn or it
could be from press releases it could be
from yes posting and other websites
it could even be from media in terms of
getting interviewed on podcasts or media
outlets or being featured in a magazine
or whatever that might be there's many
many ways of getting traffic online
whether that's free organic traffic or
whether that's paid advertising and paid
traffic okay so traffic basically
attracting people to you getting traffic
and sending that direct to a sales page
the sales page is promoting the product
or the service that you have that could
be an Amazon product whether that's an
e-book or a physical physical product on
Amazon it could be to your ecommerce
store your drop shipping website it
could be to a sales page in terms of
maybe having long-form written sales
copy or maybe it's a video sales letter
a vesl you know regardless basically
just sending direct to the sales page
now when you do this it's important to
understand where this fits where this
campaign fits in with your business this
is really effective first and foremost
number one if the product that you're
selling we use a different color for
this for you guys
is less than 100 about 100 bucks okay
less than $100 this can be effective now
in terms of pricing your product that's
gonna entirely depend on the niche in
the market that you're in okay typically
for certain issues you can charge more
money if it's business marketing if it's
real estate investing and it's around a
topic that helps people achieve a
certain result then you could charge
more money for that okay just because
that marketplace people are willing to
spend more in order to achieve those
results other niches and markets it
could be a little bit more challenging
to charge more than $100 for or even
over $50 for for example health or
fitness or even self development
typically you got to charge at a lower
end for that just because it's not
targeted around a certain result okay
but for the most part you can just do
this simple funnel for a product that's
less than a hundred bucks just send the
traffic right to the sales page now what
will determine how your traffic will
convert and who will buy is dependent on
a few different factors number one is
the quality of the traffic okay the
quality of the traffic you know I always
say there's three different types of
traffic there's cold traffic there's
warm traffic and then there's hot
traffic cold traffic is someone that
doesn't even know who you are
okay maybe they've clicked on a Facebook
ad you might have or a Google Ad or you
know who knows where but basically they
have no idea who you are they're not
really warmed up yet
to you or your product there might be
hot in terms of you know eagerly wanting
to change their life or to solve their
problem or to buy a product that could
help them with you know that could be a
factor but in terms of them having any
trust or relationship with you typically
that's more cold if they don't if they
haven't already consumed something from
you beforehand warm is someone that's
already maybe consumed some of your
content already knows who you are
recognizes the brand that you have so
for example typically you know coca-cola
and Apple these big brands
they are very warm you know in terms of
the people that buy the products because
everyone everyone knows coca-cola
everyone knows Apple everyone knows
Microsoft everyone knows these big
brands whereas you know the brand or the
product that no one's heard of before
right that's gonna be more cold and
people don't have any association to
that brand or product whatsoever so it's
gonna be a little bit harder to sell a
colder lead or traffic into buying a
product or service and that hot is
typically someone that's already bought
from you before or someone that's just
really you know really engaged and eager
to buy your product maybe they've
already consumed a lot of your content
or really benefitted from you or really
know your brand in a big way and they
look up to you that person you know it's
a very easy sale so I understand the
quality is really really important and
that's why I love content marketing and
something called value-added marketing
value-added marketing vie a.m. for
shorts value-added marketing is when
you're actually adding value in your
marketing that's what content marketing
is you're adding the value upfront
giving away something for free free
videos articles a podcast a guide
whatever that is when someone's receive
something from me for free they benefit
from it and have added you've added
value to them in some way then obviously
that's going to turn them from cold to
warm to hot and then they're gonna be
more likely to buy now the other factor
on the sales page of course will affect
whether or not people buy from you so
you know what's that's gonna come down
to is the actual offer and the product
itself right does the product itself
you know do people perceive that as a
valuable product if it's a ten dollar
product do people see it as being worth
ten dollars and is it you know ideally
the product itself is more attractive
it's even adding more value than what
you're charging for it so if it's a ten
dollar product you'd want to make it you
know appear like it's worth more than
ten dollars and they're getting a really
great deal by buying that product for
ten dollars same thing with ebooks you
know oftentimes in my publishing course
I tell people to create bonuses because
when you create a bonus you know they
don't just get the book but you also get
this bonus as well which is increasing
the
you of the product and so people are
more than happy to pay that money to get
more from you because they feel like
they're getting a great deal
so the actual offer the actual product
but also you know the actual sales copy
or the website there's a number of
factors that can determine the
conversions of your product and just in
terms of actually making it you know
making the sales copy a lot better or if
it's a video video sales letter
improving that making sure that converts
but oftentimes what I found is that if
you've got quality enough traffic then
regardless of the headline or regardless
of the sales copy people are gonna buy
regardless just because they're a raving
fan already and that's what I personally
focused on my business I've never
personally been that great at constantly
split testing things and improving in
and proving all the little words and the
colors of my website although that can
definitely increase conversions I put
more of my focus and energy and on
tracting the right people that when I
launch something or make a product
available people will buy because
they've already received so much benefit
and value from me beforehand and there's
already a level of trust and
relationship there
okay so traffic to sales page great for
products less than 100 bucks you know
the quality of traffic is what's gonna
primarily determine the sale and this is
also great if you already have people
that are followers of yours subscribers
or they're on your email list okay so
for example someone's on my email list
I've already got the traffic I just send
them directly to the sales page okay I
don't need them to opt-in again just
direct to the sales page because if
they're already on my list or if they're
already a follower or subscriber of mine
then there's already a certain level of
trust and relationship there because
they've already decided that there's
value to be had by following me or
opting into my email list
