to share to you guys a really powerful

story of something that recently

happened in my life something that will

probably go down as one of the most

inspiring moments of my life something

that I'll never forget

and something that it was just so

powerful that I want to share it with

you guys because I think this story can

help influence you in a better way as

well now as many of you guys know I was

recently at the Tony Robbins business

mastery seminar in Las Vegas those of

you that follow me on social media on

snapchat periscope have seen a lot of

the highlights from that event and

things that I was learning and sharing

throughout that experience has been

pretty transparent about the process and

everything from it and it's a seminar of

and wanted to do for a number of years

now many of you guys know that Tony

Robbins is the number one influence in

my life since I was 17 years old and

shaping my life and shaping Who I am

and I really owe a lot to him because I

would not be Who I am without him you

know he's influenced me in so many

incredible ways and this was a seminar

I've been wanting to go to for a while

now and it's not a cheap seminar and I

wanted to make sure that I was ready for

it you know and I went to the seminar

and I got so much value from it and put

out some videos sharing some of the

lessons and highlights and things I got

from it but there is one particular

moment in the seminar that really

touched me and really has impacted me in

a really incredible way there's a moment

in the seminar where Tony Robbins was

talking about financial freedom and he

was sharing how you know but your

finances and about asset allocation and

how you have to allocate your money in

different buckets he tells it the

security bucket and there's a growth

bucket and then there's the dream bucket

and you know everybody was kind of doing

this exercise and people were sharing

you know he's asking people in the

audience to share and when we got to the

dream bucket the green bucket is when

you have a bucket for whatever it is

that you dream about in your life you

know having putting aside some money for

I don't know maybe that vacation or

maybe it's to own an

or own your own sports team or you know

I don't know to have that incredible car

or a boat or to be able to make this

incredible difference I think everybody

needs to have a dream bucket where you

put money aside and you have an

incredible dream of one day that money's

gonna amass and be able to create you

know help actualize that dream that you

have and so people who are standing up

and sharing you know there's a room just

give you an idea about 2,000 people from

40 countries I think all over the world

that we're here in we're in Las Vegas at

the seminar and so you know these are

business owners these are people with

incredible dreams and aspirations and

they're sharing their dreams and you

know they're sharing one day they're

gonna create this or do this and you

know because Tony Robbins is a very

contribution driven person he tends to

attract people that are also very

contribution driven people they're more

conscious and he and I was asking this

one woman this one woman stand up stood

up and she shared how her dream is to be

able to help and human trafficking and

she was basically describing this

organization that she works with the

founders Tim Ballard and I think it's

called Operation railroad and basically

Tim Ballard used to be a former FBI guy

and you know he goes to these countries

and they create sting operations to help

catch these people that are trafficking

kids and human beings for sex and

slavery and these horrible things that

are happening in the world man she was

describing it and the whole room was

silent you know you know hearing about

some of these problems that exist in the

world and you know some of these kids

are taken at nine months nine months old

they're taken from their families that

are kidnapped and stolen for slavery for

sex for you know for money and these

horrible things and some parts of the

world and in Donita

cambodia and in some of these countries

and anyways this woman her dream is to

help end that and she works with this

organization they put on these sting

operations where they they create an

operation you know to buy these kids or

buy these people

but really they're trying to catch the

guys that are actually selling them and

you know Tony Robbins is talking to this

woman and she is you know sharing this

and he says how much does it costs to

put on a sting operation like this and

you know costs anywhere from fifty

thousand to a hundred thousand dollars

to put on something like this and they

work with the governments and everything

to be able to do this as well

and something happened in that moment

that I'll never forget is that Tony

Robbins you know everybody was just

total attention focused on this story

and Tony Robbins without even any

hesitation without skipping a beat just

said I'm gonna give you a hundred

thousand dollars to this organization to

help end human trafficking and all of a

sudden I mean the whole room was in awe

you know I was not I was like blown away

how just in that moment a decision I'm

gonna give a hundred K just like that

without even thinking about it amazing

powerful if you're not inspired by that

I don't know what else can inspire you

but to be in that position to be able to

give just like that to be able to save

lives was an incredible thing and so the

whole art yeah home is you know standing

innovation and applauding it and just

blown away and people are crying you

know as she's sharing the story and this

total active kindness and generosity

from Tony was an incredible thing and I

was beyond inspired by that thinking man

one day I want to be able to be in a

position like that where I can just

without any hesitation be in total

abundance in my life just to decide that

I'm gonna give $100,000 or a certain

amount of money just like that

to help make a real difference in the

world to help save someone's life and

you know I was blown away by the

generosity the contribution and the

spirit and what happened was you know

Tony didn't say much else after that you

know he just moved on to the next person

and you know another person was sharing

their dream and whatnot then you know

after about 10 minutes they went back to

this other person this man stood up and

said Tony I'm so blown away about what

just happened

you know ten minutes ago how you just

just like that give $100,000

and he said I can't match you at a

hundred thousand but I want to give

$10,000 and you know Tony was blown away

Tony was floored by this man's

generosity and the whole room was as

well just total random act of kindness

and you know sure enough people are

applauding and it's amazing and then

that another person raises their hand

you know while this is happening it says

I'm gonna give $10,000 as well and it's

like oh my god

you know another $10,000 and then

another person raises their hand and

says I'm gonna give $10,000 and then

another and then another then another

than another and I kid you not within

about a 20 to 20 minute period of time

there were I don't know maybe a hundred

people that were standing there actually

standing in line and it was just one of

the most emotional most powerful moments

that I've ever been a part of - I've

never been a part of an environment like

that you know an environment where

there's so many givers that people are

in the room are so conscious they're so

abundant they're so amazing it was just

something that I was just in total awe

love I was just trying to process this

and then I noticed within myself what

was happening and then part of myself

was like I need to give I need to I need

to do something I need to be a giver

right now in this moment um but then

what I also noticed something happening

with myself was this fear this fear of

scarcity this fear of giving up

something of value and I'm not sure if

you can relate to this you know I've had

this many moments of my life where that

fear comes up maybe it's a fear to

invest in myself you know the an

incredible opportunity and there's this

fear yeah like I want to you know I want

to believe and I want to go for and I

have this incredible aspirations but

there's a fear and a part of myself that

was holding me back because it's a lot

of money right or I didn't have the

money or you know it's something that

you know maybe I can use that money in a

different way and there's some sort of

story or excuse

that we always come up with to prevent

us to protect ourselves from facing our

fear and you know I've had many moments

like that I've had moments like that are

on giving and contribution where I

wanted to give and I've had times in my

life man where I was so broke it's like

I had opportunities to give and I gave

what I can but I wish I could give so

much more but really there's always more

to give but it was just a fear and the

scarcity that was holding me back from

doing it and so I noticed this fear

within myself I noticed this scarcity

too you know because sometimes you know

we try to hold on to what we got you

know is the example youyou've everyone's

got it

open-hand at first and then you you

acquire something whether it's money and

people have so many so much emotion

around money right and we hold on to it

driver trying to keep it we don't want

to lose it we don't want to give it up

in any way and from my experience what

happens with that is when you're closing

and holding on to what you have you're

attached to it so much then you're not

open up in any way to what else could be

coming your way you're not open to

receiving more and it's not until you

can finally release and let go and you

know be able to be okay with giving or

losing or failing or risk that all of a

sudden you put yourself in a position

when you're open to receiving so I

noticed this fear within myself and then

I knew that I need to make a decision

right now and I reminded myself from a

decision I made actually a long time ago

number of years ago and this was

something that I proactively decided to

free myself from this fear that's been

holding me back my life and I've you

know given and invested probably a lot

more than most but it's still been

holding me back in many ways and that

decision was that whenever there's an

opportunity to give I will always give

always and I will not you know you know

if there's a homeless person I'm not

going to analyze and think oh um you

know maybe he's gonna use it for alcohol

or drugs that's their problem to deal

with

I'm gonna condition myself as the

identity of being a giver

someone who's free from this scarcity

from this

you're from this that's been

holding me back in my life because

that's who I want to be I want to be the

giver that's the color that's the

identity that I want to cultivate in my

life that's a standard that I have and

it's not about the amount of money right

people would say oh I love to give but

it's not about the amount you know I

don't care if it's given 25 cents to a

homeless person or a dollar or five

dollars or $10 or $10,000 right it's the

act of giving it's the habit of it

that's always more important it always

Trump's the amount and so I always

remember remember that decision to be

honest I'm not perfect with it I do give

a lot

I've got incredible hearts I pride

myself in that but there are still

moments where I you know I don't always

give I'd say my like 80% I stick with

that standard that I have for myself in

my life and then 10 to 20 percent of the

time maybe I have a story or a reason or

I'm busy yaar didn't have money on me or

some sort of BS that I'm still still

trying to overcome so that I can be more

of a giver in my life but I reminded

myself of that decision and I decided

okay you know what I'm gonna give and I

did not hesitate after that moment I

confronted that fear I grabbed it by the

throat and I decided in that moment that

I was no longer gonna be controlled by

scarcity anymore in my life that right

now is a perfect opportunity where this

fear has been a vote it's been elicited

by this moment that's happened right now

in the room and I can either let that

fear control me or I can eliminate it

right now and conquer it and so what I

decided to do I decided get up went to

the front of the room Tony Robbins was

there he was hugging people as they're

coming to give went up to Tony and gave

him a big hug went up and then I kid you

not there was a lineup of people that

are lining up to give this woman money

for this organization and as I was doing

that the moment you conquer a fear it's

the most it's the best moment of your

life you know it's the most freeing

moment of your life because I just felt

totally free I felt no longer controlled

by this fear and you know ten thousand

dollars is a lot of money I usually

strategically give my money

you guys know that this year funded two

schools that were ten thousand dollars

each to build two schools in Ethiopia

and houses that have contributed to

build and funded and volunteered and you

know I'm always trying to up my game and

there's a lot of giving that I do that

publicly isn't known just because it's

you know I just use my influence where I

can just to share the public campaigns

I'm a part of but you know ten thousand

dollars a lot of money you know to be

able to give and contribute and there's

still fear around things like that for

me man it was the best feeling that I

had and the amazing thing is in that

moment the twenty minutes that all this

occurred within one point four million

dollars was raised in twenty minutes

and Tony matched a lot of the

contributions you know it's just it's

just one of the most amazing moments

I've ever been a part of and it not only

was a transformational experience

overcoming fear but also saving

someone's life you know knowing that my

contribution is able to save a child's

life be a hero to someone else help put

an end to suffering in the world

reminded me that's why I do what I do

that's moments like this this is why you

make money right yeah you want to make

money so that you can have nice things

and things like that too but that's not

going to fulfill you what's gonna really

fulfill you is making the difference is

who you become and what you've given and

to be reminded once more of that was the

biggest gift that I got from that event

from that experience and it's something

I'll never forget

it's something that I you know still

continue to work on and evolve and

develop myself to be a giver and

hopefully my story and what I share with

you guys my vulnerability on this can

help inspire you as well because I am a

giver today and I am someone that makes

a difference in the world because other

people's example because the example of

a mother Teresa

you know who you know a Catholic nun who

one moment her whole life shifted mother

Teresa you know someone died in her arms

and she was trying to help this person

she was trying it she didn't know what

to do she had no one else to turn to so

she took him to the hospital and the

hospital wouldn't take him because he

was out of a lower class in India takes

them to another hospital no one would

take him in a third Hospital nobody

would take him and she was so frustrated

by no one would help this man who's

dying and so she took him home to her

house and he died in her arms and that

moment her whole life changed

where Mother Teresa decided that she

would no longer have another human being

died within her presence without feeling

totally loved and that whole decision

shaped her entire life

you know from fifty years old to the day

that she died examples like that stories

like that have made me understand and

realize the importance of being a giver

and maybe my story can inspire you and

share it you know with you the

importance of this and I you know I want

to share some benefits you get from it

you know I think when you give when you

invest in yourself when you give up

something of value people are so a

fearful of that and their money their

fear controls them in their life they're

held back by so many opportunities in

fact one thing that I often say is that

if there's one regret that I have in my

life or there's maybe one thing that I

can go back if I had a time machine I

can go back and say to my younger self

when I was 18 years old 17 years old

first starting on this journey what I

would tell myself then is I would tell

myself Stephan invest more in yourself

and give more those are the two things

I'd want myself to know if I were to

start this journey all over again

because I am Who I am today because of

all the investments and the growth that

I've done in myself and that there's

many moments in my my journey since I

was 17 years old where I had moments to

invest to go to a seminar to invest in

the course a program a coach and you

know sometimes I went for it

and at other times I did it and looking

back man I would just say yes

everything because who knows where I'd

be today if I had invested even more

into myself you know I'd be even further

ahead of where I am currently right now

today and then also giving as well to

have cultivated the habit of giving

younger and you know I've never always

I've never been perfect you know with

any of this stuff when I was in high

school I wasn't conscious to any of this

stuff I remember one point when I was in

high school I I stole money from my mom

you know and as something I'm not proud

of but I look back at that moment I was

just an immature young kid that was

selfish and thankfully through self

growth and self development I've become

a better person through spirituality

through all the things that I've done

I've become a more evolved human being

to where I am today and I'm continuing

to evolve but you know if I could have

freed myself from that fear and scarcity

a long time ago and just taking those

risks and gone for it and invested more

in myself and given more man you know

that compounded to where I am today that

that's the one thing that I wish I

always did more of and that's the one

thing I recommend for anybody that's

watching this is cultivate the habit of

giving of investing in yourself and not

being so attached to materialistic

things because money is unlimited in the

world there's an unlimited amount of

money you can always make more money you

know there's so many opportunities out

there if you're watching this on a

computer on a phone you are totally

abundant but most people that are

totally abundant they're still living in

fear and scarcity and it's mind-blowing

so not only do you transform when you

give you receive more as well the more

that you give the more that you grow

I'll say that again the more that you

give the more you grow you just grow

exponentially as a human being

spiritually you know it always blows my

mind when there's people that are into

self-development and they're stealing

they're pirating courses and programs

and read books and all that sort of

stuff and they're in self-development

it's just such a mind-blowing thing

because here you're trying to improve

yourself to become a better human being

and you're actually doing the opposite

by stealing and pirating you know

courses and products and things of that

nature you know set mind-blowing thing

that you're actually having the reverse

effect you're actually becoming a worse

of a human being you're not becoming

better and I think the goal is to become

better as a human being is to become

somebody that is a leader and someone

that can really make a difference in

people's lives and make a change and you

know I don't know what else to say guys

I mean

it's moments like this you know that are

the most the most important moments of

life and hopefully I could be an example

or some of you hopefully some of you are

will actually listen to some of this

advice and become a better person become

a giver and just do the best that you

can you know like I said it's not about

the amount it's about the act and the

habit and when you do I promise you your

life will transform when you stop

focusing as much on yourself and you

focus on others everything will

transform for you whether that be in

your business whether that be with your

money whether that be in your

relationships your friendships your

family stop making life so much about

you

and make it more about serving others

and serving the world in a more

empowering way and I think if we all do

that then the level of consciousness on

this planet will raise and we'll have

better human beings and can really solve

some of the biggest problems and

challenges in the world today and you

know I'm no mother Teresa but I'm

someone that tries to do the best that

he can with the resources that I have

and to become more resourceful in my

life and hopefully be a positive example

for you guys of the spirit of

contribution the unlimited possibilities

that lives within each and every one of

you the potential that exists within you

and if you're still watching this video

be bigger than just yourself and to have

some goals and you know servicing the

world in some way so I want to ending

things here guys I mean as I get

emotional when I think about it just

because things like that that really

touched me and you know had a bigger

mission and purpose for my life over the

last few years and you know if I'm in a

better position now where I can give

more but to be honest with you guys I

was still a giver when I had no money

whatsoever I was still volunteering my

time I was still giving you know 20

five cents a dollar here and there ten

dollars a hundred bucks and still giving

when I had no money you know I remember

vivid moments maybe I'll share those in

another video for you guys the moments

that I had and and I've improved a lot

as the years have gone by and becoming

better with that as well

and I'm more free now today emotionally

than ever before because I'm no longer

controlled by that fear and so hopefully

this video can inspire you hopefully it

can shift your mindset your mentality in

some way to be a giver to be a force for

good to be a force for God to be

somebody that is making a larger impact

in this life so I want to thank you guys
