Apple March 25th Event & iOS 12.2 Beta 5 Review! #Helpful Post

Apple March 25th Event & iOS 12.2 Beta 5 Review! #Helpful Post

it what's up guys sorry I didn't get
around to posting this video yesterday I
was sick but I want to update you on
what's going on right now with Apple and
their new March event that they just
announced and I was told point to
primarily this all ties in together so
here's what's going on this month with
apples on March 25th what can we expect
at this event Apple sent out their

invites of course we have to take a look
at the cryptic message what does it tell
us what secret message can we discern
from this image the tagline is It's
Showtime and I hope that the event is it
as uninspired as this invite a very very
lackluster on the arts not many hidden
meanings you can take from this is
pretty clear-cut Apple is gonna be
releasing some sort of video service
very likely some sort of services I mean
that's what this entire event is rumored
to be is just a services event Apple's
not going to be releasing any new
hardware supposedly at the event but we
could be seeing some hardware dropped
afterwards possibly there are several
possibilities of what could happen but
usually at the March event Apple is
focusing on some sort of the cheaper
hardware not necessarily the top-notch
stuff they have in the past so I
wouldn't put it past them and the
centerpiece of this event is likely to
be the Apple news magazine so I will be
launching a new news service which
you'll pay for if you want to you'll get
some very high-quality tailored
magazines to your interest from many
sources or supposedly that's what the
events will tie in with so we'll
definitely see it's very likely the
Apple could launch their video service
that Netflix competitor at this event
they've supposedly been investing over a
billion dollars already into a bunch of
TV shows so we could be seeing it was
rumored that at this event we wouldn't
be seeing that service Apple would be
launching it later but it only makes
sense of course with that news reel
invites you would think it'd be video
based and hardware it's very unlikely
we'll see any major crazy releases like
the air pods - at this event I've had a
lot of people asking me about that as
far as we know the status of air pods -
right now is man this fiasco just keeps
going air pods - will likely be released
in fall and this is coming from oddly so
we already covered this but I want to
recap that the biggest and best source
we have is telling us that this will
likely be released later in the fall of
2019 what could happen that this event
though and again not directly at the
event
Apple could refresh their website
afterwards and just drop some products
that they've been you know dragging
their feet on such as air power and if
they do release air power it's very
likely that we'll see the wireless
charging case for air pods for existing
air power right now so Apple could drop
that and then air pods - alongside the
iPhone 11 later on in 2019 in my opinion
I think that's what could happen but
again we're so close just wait and see
it's it's literally less than two weeks
as far as hardware goes there's a few
other things that Apple could refresh
we've been hearing a lot of talk about
the iPod Touch 7th generation this is a
very low priority subject for Apple so
for them to refresh it right after the
event on their website I could see that
happening you know another device to
consume their new news service or the TV
service movie service they'll be
launching why not and of course the
rumored new iPad so the iPad Mini 5 this
is a refresh of the iPad Mini 4 with
just some refresh internals and a
relocated mic on the back nothing really
major in terms of hardware but it is
rumored to happen very very soon here so
I wouldn't be surprised if Apple refresh
that and then the bigger refresh is the
larger iPad so currently it's a nine
point seven inch 329 dollar iPad that
supports the Apple pencil this new one
will be a 10.2 inch iPad and also it'll
be a budget end so still will be fairly
cheap and I'm sure it'll get some new
features mostly under the cover changes
but supposedly we'll be getting some
slimmer vessels so that could could
happen and lastly is an iMac refresh
Apple hasn't done much with those the
processors it's well overdue so Apple
could silently drop a refresh on that as
well so as far as hardware that's what
we're looking at again it's all a big
unknown this is mostly a
subscription-based service event which
Apple has never really had one just
dedicated to that so it's it's all new
we'll see okay guys that's as far as the
event goes I was 12.2 there are some big
changes let's go ahead and cover the
latest beta five and I didn't cover beta
four so I'll match this all up into one
I was 12.2 before even getting into
those features and wanted to talk about
some under the cover changes 95 mag
posted an article where they talked
about some features they've seen which
may not make it to final release which I
still want to cover what they're working
on because it's so pretty interesting
alright so starting with a new algorithm
for the electrocardiogram feature on the
Apple watch Apple is trying to geofence
it more accurately this is a feature
they don't want to mess with the
regulations and all
so they definitely have to restrict this
feature and right now people are getting
around it's they can activate it in
different areas of the world without
being supported officially so Apple will
be clamping down on that on 12.2 if you
have that feature somewhere else
remember if you update it will likely
get locked out if you're not in America
Apple has been working on a lot of the
settings stuff if you actually look into
the settings page we'll talk about this
in just a second here but under the
cover changes 9 to 5 Mac is reporting
that Apple is interested in adding a
warranty section in the About section of
your phone so here you'll be able to see
the warranty status of your phone you'll
be able to see if Apple care is
activated how long you have left on it
and you'll be able to purchase Apple
care if you don't have it already so
apples gonna make that easy for you and
it only makes sense for them it's just
an extra source of profit putting it
right at your fingertips where you can
easily purchase it and supposedly Apple
is launching their own credit card so
with Goldman Sachs Apple will be
launching a credit card within the wall
application which we've been seeing
extensive work into a point - there's
gonna be a new activity ring which will
be very similar to that in the activity
app where you can track your spending
and it'll go up as you get more rewards
stuff like that
and throughout Iowa's whole point -
they're reporting that airpower the
support for is constantly being tweaked
and adjusted which very likely could
mean that at this event
iOS whole point 2 will be dropped and
airpower will be released alongside it
so finally we'll be able to use that in
synergy and I was told point to air
power and the wireless charging for air
pods all right so I was told point to
Apple has been putting in a lot of work
in iOS in many different areas in the
control center in the animations just
general polish it's certainly there
they're making it a lot better latest
versions do see a new news app
application the icon right here has been
changed from previous versions not sure
what I think about it but I think it
gets across the point that it is the
news application that's reflected in the
widgets in the settings page the iCloud
settings in the control center there is
a new remote icon here
so apples been working on this
extensively the Apple TV's so it's it's
certainly very apparent Apple's
launching a TV service here also is
they've changed the animation it's not
so abrupt it smoothly smoothly
transitions onto screen and if you
actually have a Wi-Fi off now when I was
12.2 it'll actually prompt you to turn
it on directly
from in here so very cool that they
added that option previously just give
you an error if we actually jump into
the Apple TV remote you'll see the
interface has received some reworkings
the menu text over here is bolder just a
few adjustments here and if we actually
jump into the Apple TV now playing a
menu here you can see the icon from the
trackpad over here has been switched to
the Apple TV remote very cute and I know
five Mac shows in detail here that the
volume icons have changed on the Apple
TV when transmitting to it so very
interesting changes and in the settings
application if you download a profile
and you jump into settings it'll let you
know that you downloaded one recently
right here and didn't finish the
installation so you click on it here to
finish installing alright so here's that
about section where eventually we're
going to be seeing the warranty
information or so we here in this latest
version Apple has taken the model name
and adjusted it further so now the the
our or the yes on the tennis max is
lower case a very interesting change
they've separated the storage section
over here so as you can see it's its own
section and the modem and connection
stuff is its own section down here and
in the Apple ID payment settings if
you're paying with your mobile phone
there's now a new icon it doesn't
reflect your device which is interesting
it's an older iPhone but hey it works
and inside the news application lots of
interface changes here top stories over
here is smaller this titling up here is
larger the icon for news is updated over
here if you jump it to follow the by
defaults if you actually scroll up the
search bar stays just all around some
small tweaks over here the title size is
different too okay guys just the final
few things I wanted to talk to
performance here I was told point two
has been running fantastically I think
you guys will absolutely love it
so before fifty seven point 17 gigabytes
available after just about the same
again the orientation does change it
does throw you off but I love it so much
so Apple finally refining those small
inner workings of iOS that they haven't
touched since basically the beginning
and it's great anyways so I ran a geek
bench and I'm gonna show you guys
compared to the last it's pretty close
here even better than beta 3 and I'm not
sure the bugged or something but a very
strong single core multi-core just about
where it's usually
so it's the it's the scrolling the
behavior like it feels very great
definitely didn't feel bad before I was
told points who's just refining what's
already good you know it's it's hard to
notice anything better I will tell you
that this is a fairly smooth beta and
let's check if they fixed the the bug
with the - so let's try that out
enable - - - - - - - - yeah
so looks like Apple fixed the - bug
finally huh they must have salsa comms
video good of them to fix that though so
the iPhone no longer crashes upon the -
bug and for those of you waiting on the
iOS 12 jailbreak for 812 devices or the
iPad pros on a 12 X and that has been
released just with no Cydia support yet
just so you're aware so the IPA for that
was released we we have a very early
build it's still in beta I wouldn't
recommend you install it unless you're a
developer just as soon as Sarek update
cydia with support for iOS 12 and mobile
substrate then finally you guys will be
able to free your 10 our 10s devices and
the new iPad pros I am so excited
lastly the galaxy has 10 giveaway what's
going on with that a lot of people were
asking me today's the day so I'll leave
a link down below in the description for
the winners that was keen he's handling
that in the shipping but I promise I'll
make sure all of them get outs don't
worry if I if I say I'm gonna do
something I will do it okay guys there
it is I was 12.2 I'm actually very
excited for this one I'm gonna be
running the jailbreak so I won't be
running on my personal device but Apple
is polishing that glass shine on iOS
evermore so thanks for watching guys
stay tuned for the next one
