there is another link going around that

will crash your device on impact so this

is latest update on Iowa's 12 GM you get

this link you do have to do an

additional step here you actually have

to visit it and then click on the link

but as soon as it does enter Safari your

device respring x' and basically

restarts just like that so it's a fairly

harmless little glitch I'm gonna show

you how to do it you could use it as a

prank as you can see it is restarting

right now and as far as these go there

have been much more severe ones where

people would send it to you and restart

your phone on impact so this one's not

that bad there's no lasting harm

whatsoever you easily delete the message

it's just it's a toxic link for your

device it uses a DOS CSS attack the

developer that did share this did warn

us to use at our own caution so I'll

leave a link for that down below but

it's pretty fun one as with any of these

though there is a degree of risk that

something could go wrong but I've been

trying it on many other devices and

every single time you load it your

device just crashes send some friends

and how to laughs but all right let's go

ahead and check out how to do this have

had one of these in a little while maybe

a few months he's always show up every

once in a while as far as they go so it

is fairly harmless okay so both of these

are on iowa's 12 this is the latest

version right here and just gonna go

ahead and send that link over one more

time and it looks like a short link it

doesn't actually load the full

description when you go into the

messages so it's just a short little

link you can't really tell what's going

on you go and click on it and boom your

device is shut down on the spot it does

take about 15 to 20 seconds for it to

reboot the loop to happen and then it

starts again so it's pretty harmless you

don't have to click on those links it's

only gonna work once then I'll never

click on the link again so just so you

guys know it can't be redone like before

it's not as malicious and that's what

makes it less harmful now this thing

does work all the way down to Iowa 7 pre

iOS 7 they didn't have the same CSS the

support in Safari so doesn't work the

same way but just to show you guys on

iOS 11 it doesn't work just the same

this is on iOS 11 point for the beta

works the same at eleven point four

point one and when you go and click on

that link right here

same deal device crashes it even works

on the iPhone 5 and iOS 9 a developer

shared a bunch of scenarios where it did

work so hey guys there it is kind of fun

use responsibly and there's really no

harm does nothing to your device even

safari doesn't remember the link when

you go back into it and what's likely to

happen is I was 12 point 0.1 will get

released with a patch for this very soon
