all right and here we go another one

guys another text message crashbug

that will cause your iphone to instantly

crash just from one letter from Indian

alphabet and it works on the latest iOS

11 firm worse this one is bad it effects

Instagram snapchat your Springwater your

iPhone your text messages app pretty

much everything and anything that OH

just crashed right there because of it

but let me go ahead and show you how

this works all you have to do is send

one text message to an iPhone and I'm

gonna do that right here so just paste

in Indian character it's gonna look just

like this so nothing special but

definitely something you haven't seen

before and this is the eleven point two

point five victims so I'm gonna send it

over here and as soon as it gets it

crashes just like that

that is bad and I'll do it again and if

you guys want to keep doing this you

certainly can't a sent it again

sometimes you'll get a text it won't

crash it right away but you click it and

your apps just crash I mean you're a

text message app it basically will not

open and it will keep doing that it is

screwed guys this one is really bad

because it will cause you to have to

restore your iPhone in some cases and

there are a couple fixes I'll get to

that in a second and yeah very evil text

message prank if you guys want to do it

this is how I don't recommend it it will

cause your iPhone to constantly

respraying just be really really

all-around bad but there is a way to fix

it and I'll get to that in a second here

so basically I want to explain why this

happens first off and the truth is it's

an Indian caricature that iOS 11 cannot

translate so it's quite interesting if I

actually click on the backspace button

you'll see that this Indian character

turns into several as I keep going

backwards it changes so it's quite

interesting that iOS 11 isn't able to

understand it and the only reason not

even able to send this is because I'm on

I was eleven point three which is not

affected by this bug right now with the

beta one of the fixes is to go ahead and

update to the beta that way you won't be

affected by this anymore so I'm going to

go ahead and send it over here again it

does crash so your once in a while it

will crash once in a while the text

message app will crash

and it's just one or the other but it

definitely causes crashes all throughout

iOS now it gets worse because I actually

sent this in a snapchat group chat and

that group chat is unable to be open

anymore like I'll show you what happens

on a device inside of snapshot on the

old firmwares alright so if I actually

go into the chat here snapchat just

crashes like nobody can open that group

chat anymore unless they're on iOS 11.3

it gets worse inside of Instagram if you

actually send this to somebody in their

messages they will not be able to open

any messages period if you click on the

messages tab right here it just crashes

like your whole Instagram app boom and

you cannot get in there there's no fix

to this this one in particular other

than updating to iOS eleven point three

that's the only way you'll ever be able

to use your messages inside of Instagram

again it is pretty diabolical like this

is bad this is one of the worst I've

seen because it affects everything from

Instagram snapchat and your actual phone

so let's go ahead and get into the

details I'll talk about how to do it how

to fix it and everything in between so

once again sent it over here sometimes

you get this text but you click on it

either your phone will crash or the text

messages app will crash one or the other

alright let's get to it alright so

here's the actual page that you'll go to

I'll show you how to fix it here in just

a second but basically this bug was

found by a Twitter developer and he did

notice that it did cause things to crash

wherever you paste it in iOS it will

cause things to crash it's basically

because iOS and Mac OS by the way it

does work on the latest version of Mac

OS this just causes it to crash because

it cannot render the symbol basically

when iOS Mac OS watch was trying to

render Indian symbol all of it has

crashed so this symbol right here it

looks like a vine of grapes or something

just go ahead and copy it now if you're

not an iOS 11.3 it will cause your phone

to crash though so check this out I am

on eleven point two point five I'm gonna

jump in here and copy this and if I try

and paste it to my R wait I forgot I

can't even get in there let me fix it

real quick if you actually try and paste

it into the messages app on eleven point

two point five you will fail miserably

watch this it just causes it

if you paste it into your spotlight it

will cause your phone to respring this

is like poison for your iPhone and it's

immediately apparent here what it does I

mean it crashes anything it comes into

contact with so you're not gonna be able

to send it from your iPhone so how do

you do it you actually do have to update

to iOS eleven point three in order for

this to be effective so over here on my

main device you can see that I am on iOS

eleven point three and that's the only

reason that it does not crash so if I

actually paste it in here you can see it

will work and then I send it over here

it crashes this phone so you have to be

on iOS eleven point three for this to

work you guys want to know how to

install that I'll leave a link down

below in the description to where you

can do that so it is pretty simple but

once you're on it too then only you can

send and dish out this revenge to other

people otherwise it will crash the

system it's on so yeah that's basically

how do you do you just go to the webpage

that I've linked to copy that little

symbol and if you're on iOS 11.3 you are

able to send it to people on the current

firmware which is eleven point two point

five or below so that is basically it's

very simple causes your phone to crash

again very evil for snapchat Instagram

for Instagram as you can see I cannot

even get into my messages anymore it

just crashes it's right away so that's

pretty annoying it causes my snapchat to

like refresh all of the messages every

single time you open it and when I click

on it it just causes my phone to

respring or closes the app just like

that so pretty dating annoying

definitely not something you want to

send to people because I've already done

it to some people and I've regretted it

because it permanently disables

Instagram unless they update to 11.3 the

messages portion of its snapchat group

chats that you put it into can never be

accessed again unless you're on eleven

point three quite annoying and then

people text you asking you how to fix it

so how do you fix it because your

messages app will not be working

afterwards online I've seen many place

to say you have to restore your iPhone

and that isn't the truth I've actually

figured out a way to fix it the phone

that actually dishes out the punishment

is the only one that can fix this as

I've learned so you basically have to

send the person that you sent the

original one to anything and once they

get that you want to go ahead and 3d

touch on the messages app and click new

message this will allow you to open up a

new message and then you'll be able to

go back and exit out of this you don't

want to

go into it because it will start the

cycle again or actually no it didn't

surprisingly if I try and copy it I

believe it will crash yeah so no now

basically the person that sent the text

that disabled the phone has to send any

other one and it will basically get it

working again now if you guys don't have

3d touch basically how to do it I just

sent it again it crashed it now send any

other message and click on the incoming

message here oh there we go and then

when you go back into the app you can go

ahead and delete it here so a little

workaround there if you don't have 3d

touch it is fixable it seems impossible

in the moment to like it completely

broke your device but you definitely

can't fix it's it's still pretty

devastating to people that don't know

how to do it and wow it randomly still

crashes my phone once in a while that is

so weird even only deleted it huh some

interesting repercussions there an

interesting thing is this cannot be

fixed by Apple until they released the

new firmware so it leads me to believe

they will be releasing iOS 11 point 2

point 6 here any day maybe even today

because this is bad and to wait until

iOS eleven point three would be bad

because that's supposed to release in

March so this will probably have an

update to fix it very soon here I also

wanted to see if it will work on iOS 10

because if it does you know some devices

will be affected for life so I want to

see if it does affect iOS 10 as well so

I'm just gonna send over a quick text

message here right so this is a device

on iOS 10 ten point two point one and I

believe it will be the same on ten point

three point three so I'm gonna go ahead

and send this over to this guy see if it

works there we go oh yeah wow it does

work

so unless Apple pushes a patch for iOS

ten point three point three maybe ten

point three point four on the iPhone 5

they will be affected for life on this

firmware that's crazy so it does cause I

was tend to completely crash upon

receiving it and let's see if the

messages app is disabled as well man

this is bad this is seriously like one

of the worst ones I've seen oh yeah your

messages app is completely disabled

let's see if this fix works so I'm just

going to send something over

and click it he'll crash and go back in

oh no you can't even fix the messages

app on this one why in the world

so iOS 11 has a fixable solution this

one does not on Iowa's tend like it

permanently crashes messages out and

I've tried the VGA ds3 fix prompt it

does not work like it does not help at

all so Wow Apple needs a mandatory patch

for iOS 10 after this that's absolutely

crazy you know at least an iOS 11 you

can fix it and get that out of the way

move on with your life but on Iowa's

tell you can write so I actually want to

see how far down this rabbit hole this

goes so I'm on iOS 9 now nine point 0.2

on a really old iPhone II here and I've

got messages set up so I'm gonna go

ahead and send it over here just to see

if this is on iOS 9 as well and will

work on devices like the 4s for life as

well so let's go ahead and send that

over and well then it caused the

messages app to crash let me try it

again in a notification and you know it

does not affect iOS 9 so this is iOS 10

and above some sort of rendering issue

with how iOS handles it it does not

affect this one in any way surprisingly

so if you guys want to take an extra

measure you can't block people and they

won't be able to send this to you at all

so how do you do that you just go into

the details of that user and go ahead

and block them that way they won't be

able to send you any text messages with

any sort of malware like this inside of

them so that is it guys the most insane

version of this bug I've ever seen do

use responsibly and do help people out

right away if you wanted to use this as

a prank because I know some of you guys

will be you do need to be on iowa's 11.3

to send it out and a secondary fix is to

update to iOS eleven point three but

again be very careful about setting in

Instagram because you will not be able

to access the direct messages ever again

unless you're on Iowa's eleven point

three it is so bad that is crazy man I

can't believe the impact this has had on

my phone so expect an update here within

the day I'm sure that Apple will be

pushing 11 point two five six here any
