propria let's get to unboxing the

$13,000 iMac Pro so someone came a

little late - honestly been waiting for

it for a while but now that I've got it

this is fully loaded maxed out would be

using it to its fullest potential

I hope go ahead and check it out what it

looks like and what kind of performance

we can get out of it sit oh my gosh this

is not an easy unboxing to make honestly

super wide camera angle lens definitely

needed alright oh boy

there is the unique wallpaper to the

iMac Pro don't think I'm actually really

excited for this computer mouse that the

speakers have been upgraded greatly from

the regular iMac and I haven't had an

iMac I think since years ago but it was

part of my setup I've been editing on a

2017 MacBook Pro and man it just doesn't

cut it so I'm finally finally happy that

Apple released a competent or based

computer right so here we have the black

accessories now funny thing is these go

on eBay for like hundreds of dollars for

these alone you can't get them without

the iMac Pro so that's why here we've

got the Blackmagic mouse - oh wow sleek

but still the flawed design where the

charger is on the bottom but it looks

really really cool Apple's definition of

space grey keeps evolving that's for

sure

and the keyboard which I don't believe

is backlit unfortunately would have been

cool but this is like a two-year old

keyboard just in a new color now so

pretty cool very sleek and I did get the

trackpad as well so the reason I don't

actually use these with an iMac maybe

I'll start but the reason I got these is

because you can't get it later you have

to buy it with the iMac Pro otherwise

you have to order a new one just to get

this thing so why not just to have it

here is the trackpad also looking super

sleek it's like a slate grey it's

awesome alright here is the main exhibit

so the power cable down here which also

comes in black

this thing is decked out in black as you

can see honestly I think Apple should

start doing the nylon braided cable like

on the home pods on every

Kable of theirs I feel like it way more

durable and hold up better over time so

there's that all right and here's this

guy so and here we go so oh man so the

one thing I will say I really wish out

what we do is to update the bezel

designs the most satisfying part of my

workday there we go all right so there's

that it does look a bit outdated right

out of the box but still super sleek the

color itself let's go ahead and get her

connected and see what she can do now my

ideal iMac would be slim bezels organic

LED display and I think that's just

about be its but this thing is a beast

we're gonna be rendering on it so I'm

gonna be editing video putting more

filters and color correction type deal

because on my macbook pro man it's just

pretty bad so this guy will be able to

maximize the potential of all my videos

which I'm really excited about so I'm

gonna go ahead and set this guy up and

man the bass is unreal with two home

pods the only way that you can do will

output right now it's through iTunes so

I'm able to do that and the speakers and

this thing are pretty impressive not

much base but the mid to high czar

pretty dang good

so this setup right here the sound is

unreal and I cannot wait to use this

more just the lag lag is unbearable

right now you click Play especially from

a third-party player and it really

really takes forever to actually start

the signal so that's really annoying but

it's definitely some of the best audio

I've heard when it comes to the highs

and mid-tone ranges and in a smaller

room like my office the bass is really

really impressive so next up I just

wanted to run a geek bench to get some

perspective here as far as numbers go

this is the 18 course 2.3 gigahertz

pretty low for individual ones but for

rendering 3d modeling video editing it's

exactly what you need for the higher

output times and for me that's pretty

much everything I want to be able to

maximize my efficiency potential with

this computer also it does have 128

gigabytes of RAM and it is the 4

terabyte version so it is absolutely

fully loaded here and the displays the

best parts the 5k you know just

everything about it is amazing so here

we go this is the fully loaded GPU as

well by the way so ready an Pro Vegas 64

numbers I'm expecting them to be record

high of course alright and here is that

single core score so 5000 it's really

hard to believe - that my iPhone gets

just a thousand under that one for

single and multi-core score is a fifth

amount of the iMac Pro so that is

absolutely monstrous seriously can't

wait to put this thing to the ultimate

test so that's pretty much it for this

video I just wanted to give you a quick

rundown unboxing but I'm gonna do a

gaming video just to see what this thing

is that capable of in just a minute
