Wow okay so that is new there we go

what's up guys everything Apple Pro here

today let's go ahead and take a look at

the latest threat to Apple earpods to

super copy they've gotten so good to

where they've copied every single thing

and this is the blatant one the one that

has all the Apple logos on them the

Lightning ports just the worst possible

nightmare for Apple because they copied

their product one for one honestly I'd

be a little embarrassed as an Apple

engineer if everything that I made could

be copied like this but this is the

culmination of about two years of air

pod clones so in this video I want to

see not only how close they got but also

what's inside how they made them work so

this is the super coffee of course with

the W one pairing Bluetooth 5.0 but this

is version 2 of air pods - this is the

first time we've ever seen someone try

actually try to be a blatant ripoff of

Apple's latest generation of air pods so

these are around $70 and so far what I

can tell you is it looks identical like

almost identical box wise and uh let's

actually see how how close they got here

same font same reflection and everything

let's flip it around here and what do we

got so same labels Wow like this is

impressive just without even opening it

everything looks good here on the back

same labels this is bad this is really

bad for Apple the only difference that I

can tell is that this green LED is not

as vibrant as Apple's and the far is

just a little bit richer but if you

didn't have the box right by it you'd

never be able to tell even the ceiling

looks good like this is impressive work

seriously ok well let's dig in so I'm

very surprised just from packaging a low

and I can already tell you know you're

paying a lot more than usual clones this

is $70 and that way they don't have to

make any compromises because usually any

of the earlier tws is like you would

either be getting less or worse sound

quality or worse inferior build quality

this one seems to have no compromises

yet also I am running I was 12 point 3

beta 6 on my iPhone so we'll be able to

tell if the w1 pairing works on Apple's

latest firmware

and I'm very surprised that they haven't

blocked it yet from what I could tell it

seems to be hardware level where they

copied the w1 chip and that's why I

actually want to see and dig into them

and see what's inside but okay same

packaging type company it up we do have

a lightning cable of very high quality

huh thank these guys go deep also it's

gotten the button in the same place the

logo in the same place and ok it looks

pretty good I mean identical it has all

the Apple text on there which is a big

no-no for trademark that is not good so

on the bottom we do have a lightning

port the port itself looks a little bit

different

not that hold the same way or no it's a

color that's different but yeah very

very close here and I'm not sure which

one that was that popped up probably

this one if I close it it goes away if I

open it does it come back yes it does so

it still works on Iowa's 12 point 3 beta

6 the latest version very impressive and

it seems to respond very fast like I'm

very surprised this has no right being

this fast that's ridiculous

so just like apples very quick and look

at that pairing process that's like h1

speed Wow very impressive in in a funny

way in a sick twisted way like this

should not happen imagine an Apple

engineer looking at this product the w1

chip which was so rare not even rare

just no one did it before and seeing it

replicated on the Chinese gray market

anyways so let's go ahead and parrots

it just says air pods nothing else but

just like the air pods - doesn't say

ARPANSA - or anything

well that's connecting let's check out

the actual build quality so the great

inside looks a little bit different it's

not as dark it's a little silvery so

there are still a little tiny

differences here and there the band on

the bottom is slightly wider it's like

the the last 10% of finish is not the

same Oh connection failed oh and that's

no good do they need to be inside is

that why huh so could Apple's latest

12.3 apps

sort of DRM that's preventing this

interesting Wow okay so that is new I'll

try one last time and then I'm gonna go

to an older firmware here but that seems

like Apple finally has prevented these

from connecting and is there a different

way to connect them as a question okay

so I wasn't able to see it in the

bluetooth menu oh okay so now it

connected I take that back I did have

some sort of error but seems like if you

go into the bluetooth menu itself it

does connect and I believe that was one

of the steps that I missed okay so I've

set them up listening to music I'm

honestly blown away these sound

identical like one for one audio quality

with air pods and in the listing itself

it did say high quality by the way in

case you guys are wondering why I never

share links because I'm not trying to

profit off this I'm not trying to

encourage purchase of these it's just

fascinates me that someone can copy

Apple's products one for one and get

away with it like this like Wow but

anyways sound quality checks out

everything loudness they sound almost

identical they're very loud very punchy

and they feel identical like the plastic

field well on most of them it's

different but this one just feels like

the real deal so there was a couple

connection issues not sure what that was

about but they seem to connect pretty

easily now like you put them away pauses

and you close them they disconnect so

you pop them out put them in and they do

connect but this comes up every single

time which is what confuses me I'm not

sure why but they do connect just fine

almost instantly so once you do get it

it does work so last things is the case

how snappy is it there's that one it's

pretty close fairly close there's just a

couple degrees of sound difference but

they do sound pretty dang good so

everything just feels good not the same

weight solid okay so what else can I say

let's try out the wireless charging

feature

okay so here's Apple's air pods they

charge with an amber LED here's these no

go oh there it is so also an amber LED

you don't put them exactly in the middle

like apples air pods the wireless

charging location is different you got

to slide it upwards a little seems like

or

does they just need to sit on there for

a while yeah so works just the same okay

last thing I want to test is the actual

distance outside and then let's slice it

open and see just how they did w1 paring

I'm sure it's system-wide like hardware

level where they copy the chip itself

okay so in my right ear is the fake air

pods in the left is the original so one

two three first off there it just sounds

like the same air pods in both ears they

really nailed that one and now blows me

away because all others are a couple

that's not a decent this just sounds by

far the best and you're definitely

paying for that okay let's get out of

here let's start walking so fifteen feet

20 feet 30 feet and these are bluetooth

5.0 so just like apples air pods - they

copied that technology as well still

sounds good no clipping 50 feet 60 feet

about 70 feet now still good I'd say -

there it's about 120 feet and nothing it

is a straight shot nothing between us

if there were other obstacles you know

both would suffer and not still good

okay clipping clipping here we go so

that's about a hundred feet 110 feet

both still sound good even here okay

actually apples just cut out yeah

they're both one for one sound quality

is one for one both are clicking a

little bit suffering the range on both

is about one for one that's ridiculous

both are clipping at the same time even

it's funny okay so there it is last

thing is to cut them open and see just

how they did it I dunno what the w1 chip

looks like so when we cut into it right

now if it's there I'll be able to tell

you if it was a hardware level hack this

just really really makes me curious how

they did I'm sure Apple is furious about

it it never ceases to amaze me the

ingenuity of the chinese clone markets

man these guys are good

so good all right so let's go ahead and

see if we can slice into these without

destroying that battery by the way if

you guys are wondering about the gloves

in this video like I just had an

operation on a couple of my fingernails

it's bad so I really didn't wait to see

you guys see a chunk of my fingernails

removed but uh yeah let's see if we

don't add to it with this procedure

okay I think we got it it's prime apart

and see what is on the inside okay so

somehow I did it without destroying them

okay so let's see how they did it so

obviously the logic board layout is

completely different so on Apple's

everything is in the back here it's

centered in between everything the

battery is in the center so they reverse

the position with the battery with the

logic board very cool we got the

wireless coil so the actual hinge looks

a lot more like the original I'd say

than air pods to the pretty close like

wow this is good they followed the same

tube structure here and what else the

battery is quite small like quite small

but then again I'm sure it isn't here as

well let's see if we can find that chip

this will probably break them yep okay

no h1 or w1 on this side probably in

here so not on this side either I'm not

seeing that chip this is what the w1

actually looks like and I definitely do

not see it on this logic board how did

they do it if it's not hardware level is

it software level that's crazy

yeah so this remains a mystery if you

guys know the answer to this let me know

but I cannot see the w1 chip inside of

here I mean this may be it but in a

different format

very cool regard looks like this is so

advanced on the inside as well for air
