what's up guys we've got another

exciting update for you today regarding

Apple's upcoming iPhones and some very

exciting product in between there so

lots of leaks to discuss and I just want

to mention we've got a little over two

months until the upcoming iPhone it's

hard to believe September is almost here

we've already begun summer time really

does fly it was only a moment ago that I

was picking up the iPhone 10 and just

admiring how beautiful is some new

iPhones coming very soon let's start

with the newest leak on those and that's

the Geekbench that has leaked a new

model of an iPhone 11 at - has leaks and

this was reported by consul Mac they saw

that someone logged a Geekbench a test

on a supposedly new model and this one

is just a little bit different you know

blinking you'll miss the differences

here there is one concrete difference

and that's the RAM it has four gigabytes

of RAM and that was actually earlier

reported that four gigabytes would be

the standard on the iPhone 10 and the 10

plus in 2018 the 6.1 inch model will

stay at 3 gigabytes which is more than

plenty for a budget and model so the

Geekbench results here are quite good I

mean they're roughly about 10% better

than the AAA 11 chip found in the iPhone

10 and if you ask me the iPhone 10 is

not lacking in power at all but yeah

here are these scores in comparison to a

regular iPhone 10 not much higher the

actual clock speed goes from 2.39

gigahertz to 2.49 gigahertz and this is

for those two high end cores this is

still a 6 core processor but supposedly

this one will be moving to 7 nanometers

at tsmc actually published a statement

earlier saying that they're 7 an emitter

process is about 40% stronger or more

powerful than the 10 nanometre and this

translates to an apple a 11 versus the

Apple a 12 so I'm a little surprised to

see the scores at this low even though

just like I said I've never used the

power 2 never utilized it fully just I

expected a little bit of a bigger jump

here and just so you guys know there are

many possibilities of what this could be

this could be the 6.1 inch with an apple

a 11 chip that's slightly overclocked

over the standard one right now in the

iPhone 10 so we'd get slightly higher

scores with that the a12 could still be

a monster and this might not even be it

and while we're on the topic of chips

Samsung is trying to produce chips for

Apple once again as you guys know ever

since the iPhone 6s tsmc and Samsung

used to make the chips and then Apple

went just to tsmc because there

were just slightly better over Samsung's

and Samsung since then has been

improving their processes and they're

trying to introduce a new feature called

extreme ultraviolet lithography and

they're going to introduce it faster

than TSMC so hopefully they want to

capture some of that market share of

Apple's chips in 2019 now thanks to Mac

at saqqara we've actually got our first

look at the fast charger to be included

in the box of this year's iPhones and

then it's a little bit different from

the schematics that actually leaked not

too long ago so it's not as bulky but

still pretty bulky compared to Samsung's

version that comes with our latest

smartphones and has a USB C port which

is great because the continuity now

between your MacBook and the cable used

on that one and this is there so I like

that it's gonna charge a 5 volts over 3

amps or 9 volts over 2 amps so it'll

definitely be faster than the one

included in the box right now it'll be

true fast charging and it's about time

that Apple included that in the box and

there's been another leak with more

dummy units of the upcoming iPhone

lineup so these could have been easily

3d printed they don't really necessarily

mean much but it does give us a pretty

good sized perspective of this year's

upcoming iPhone lineup we've got the 5.8

inch which of course is real and then

the 6.1 inch with a single lens camera

and the flash beneath it so doesn't

really tell us anything new but it's

great to see that size perspective here

and of course you have that mammoth

iPhone 10 plus with the almost 6.5 inch

display my choice is gonna be this one

of course it's gonna be almost iPad

territory okay and the weirdest thing

I've heard in a very long time this is

my Nicky Asian review and they're saying

that an upcoming version of Apple's air

pods will actually be able to wirelessly

charge the iPhone a compatible iPhone by

placing it on the back so touching their

NFC pads together it is ridiculous I

mean it's kind of cool sounding but how

probable is it what Apple be making a

new version of ear pods case would this

be compatible with the wireless charging

one coming out very soon is that why

they're taking like a year to release it

it's a very interesting concept but

would it work there's a 400 milli amp

battery almost in the wireless charging

case of the air pods and how much could

that really charge your iPhone I mean

Apple would probably have to release a

much bigger version if you actually

wanted it to make a dent in your battery

but I couldn't see it being as sort of

an emergency measure that

port isn't very clear because it is

translated so it's hard to make out the

details but it could very well be that

the iPhone could charge the wireless

charging case of the air pods possibly

that maybe it's and the verge actually

gave a really cool prediction what if

the wireless charging case could become

a wireless charger with you you know

when you go somewhere like you plug it

in of course you'd still have a charger

there which is a bit redundant but if

you're at a hotel you plug it and you'll

still have a wireless charging pad to

set your phone down on that would be

kind of interesting right so the

wireless charging air pods that could

charge your iPhone or vice versa

are in the works and they're saying that

it could come out as soon as the end of

this year so apples cooking some very

interesting things

oh and Mark Garmin just tweeted this not

too long ago nothing concretes but what

if the air power were to cost a hundred

and fifty dollars and this may be some

sort of hint at that $150 is definitely

on the expensive side for you know a

wireless charger but it'll charge three

devices at one time and some wireless

chargers can get pretty expensive fifty

sixty dollars or so and Apple charges

eighty dollars for the Apple watch

wireless chargers so one hundred fifty

isn't unreasonable especially if this

thing has a custom chip inside of it and

a custom OS just to charge your phone

and you know they were ironing out bugs

and software glitches on it so this

thing is very complex and $150 price tag

is definitely going to reflect that

I mean gqo has published another report

from his new investment firm on Apple

and it is a very big one so I'm gonna

break this down into several sections

but beginning with 2019

he said that 2019 Apple will have marked

innovations in their iPhone lineup and

other areas so it's going to be a very

big year for Apple both in our hardware

and in software and that's why I wanted

this here but I guess we have to wait

until next I was 13 is rumored to have a

full redesign of the homescreen the

iPhones were beginning possibly a

triple-n's camry says that that's still

very likely to happen and if it warrior

would provide a lot of business to the

camera companies associated to Apple of

course

so hardware wise there will be a massive

update as well alongside software and he

still expects there to be three iPhones

later this year B 5.8 6.1 and 6.5 inch

the LCD is saying going into 2019 will

still be outselling the other models and

it will stick around next year so all

that isn't going to be standard just yet

and Ming Shaco believes that this year

may be one of the biggest in terms

upgrade cycles there's a lot of people

out there on the iPhone 6 6 s 7 even

that just haven't seen a very good

reason to upgrade just yet the price

point is too much so the 6.1 inch with

an entry-level price between 600 to 700

dollars will actually invite a lot of

people over to upgrade their phones and

that'll create a very very big upgrade

cycle he also believes that this year

will be the year Apple will introduce a

new and redesigned Apple watch a 15%

larger display as previously rumored

it'll have a larger battery capacity so

more battery life because of a

physically larger battery and there will

be some new help tracking aspects

possibly some new sensors in there I'm

very excited for this one I love my

Series 3 but we haven't seen a redesign

since the inception of the Apple watch

and he says this is the year that Apple

will finally redesigned the Apple watch

now a new report from a Chinese website

21st Century Business Herald is saying

that two models out of the three of this

year's iPhone lineup will support dual

SIM capability however the iPhones that

will have the to physical SIM card slots

will only be available in China there's

a huge market for these things in China

and they believe that the reason many

people switch over or don't go to Apple

is because they don't have this support

but dual SIM will still be available

everywhere else as Apple is implementing

an e SIM alongside the physical SIM card

slots in the iPhones everywhere else so

you'll be able to go to a carrier and

program your phone actually work with

one number and then be able to use a SIM

card to enter another and I thought this

was an interesting point so from

developers Steve trottin Smith on

Twitter he actually pointed this out and

I was 12 beta to Apple introduced the

trackpad feature where if you just hold

a space button you can move the cursor

around with how having to use 3d touch

and he believes that this is a stepping

stone towards the device without 3d

touch in case you guys forgot the 6.1

inch iPhone coming later this year was

rumored not to have 3d touch and he

believes because of Apple adding this

functionality it could actually point

out and hints that Apple is removing

that functionality and possibly in

future iPhones as well in favor of more

software gestures like hold and wait

there's been a massive report regarding

Apple's audio strategy going into 2019

so Bloomberg is reporting now starting

with the air pods generation 2 and not

just the casing the actual redesigned

air pods and by

I mean just updated with new features

most likely won't see much of a change

in there they're saying that it will

have waterproofing it'll have increased

range from your phone so the w2 chip

could possibly be upgraded to w3 even

and I love the w2 one I can be across a

basketball course and still have it

streaming perfectly fine for my iPhone

so it's very very great but of course

there's always room for improvements and

they'll be improving the noise

cancellation with some active noise

cancellation technologies there were

some patents for that earlier and

Bloomberg actually believes that there

may be two versions of the air Potts

you'll be able to buy a low end model

and a high end model with even more

features and those features could be hey

Siri support so that will be actively

listening to you and there could be a

biometric sensor in those as well like a

heart rate monitor so if you don't have

an Apple watch or possibly it'll work

alongside the Apple watch you'll get

some information from your air pods it's

very interesting how Apple will be

dividing those into classes so depending

on how much you want to pay you'll get

different features depending on the

class of air pods and yes Bloomberg is

reporting the Apple is working on

high-end over the ear headphones and

these are going to compete with Beats

but they're gonna be in a whole nother

class gonna be the more expensive

version of the Beats headphones have

more native features with the iPhones or

whatnots and I'm very excited for these

I love my beats and the bass they

produce but an Apple made version could

be infinitely better and lastly they

mentioned a home pod 2 so Apple is

working on a different version of the

home pod unknown if it'll be a Gen 2 or

a smaller version of the home pod but

most likely will be the smaller version

as it was rumored that Apple will be

producing a sub 200 dollar version of

the home pod that'll be more for smaller

rooms possibly even portable who knows

but that one could be interesting as

well

this one isn't related to the iPhones

but something that will be on your

iPhone and all new iPhones going forward

revamp their Maps application and as

soon as tomorrow with iOS 12 beta 3

we're gonna be seeing in all new Apple

maps and this is going to be way better

than what we currently have as Apple's

been driving around all of America I

personally seen them in a little

advanced collecting data and they're

basically making their Maps application

more dense have more information about

parks about roads they're gonna be able

to update them much faster now so

they're removing their reliance on

TomTom and instead producing their very

own Maps and this could finally mean

good things for Apple maps possibly it

won't take you over an intersection like

it's done for me won't take you on two

one-way roads like I've had the worst

experience with Apple maps and now that

they're actually taking it seriously and

rebuilding it from the ground up it's

going to be very very good for it I hope

all right guys there it is the latest

in the box with the iPhone very

interesting applications for future air

pods charging your iphones with them and

the upcoming iphones will actually be

around 10% faster supposedly and again

ou know in a few weeks it's gonna be I

phones first birthday we shipped our

first iPhones on June 29th and today

we're introducing the iPhone for you

it's been exactly 10 years guys since

the original iPhone hasn't been

announced it's really hard to believe

where does that time go so ten years ago

Steve Jobs took the stage and unveiled

the iPhone 3G twice as fast for half the

price and in this video I'm gonna be

unboxing it as I've never done that

before I mean yesterday we unbox the

iPhone of 3GS it was a new iPhone never

used but resealed these have not been

resealed so I'm gonna be unboxing one of

them just so you know how I'm doing this

my due diligence online Apple has a

serial code check and as you can see it

has never been activated

I took the serial code straight off the

back and you know I did the same thing

with this guy but clearly looking at the

actual plastic yeah it has been opened

it's a little bit different look screwed

you know this one looks like it was made

by a machine very clean Hawaiian's here

and this one is certainly starting to

show its age as you can see I mean this

is ten years old a ten year piece of

history so I'm super nervous I've never

done this this goes further back than

the 3GS it was a monumental upgrade for

Apple the other tagline they used was

the iPhone you've been waiting for and

yes I have been waiting for it let's go

ahead and open it so I think I'm gonna

be unboxing this one now you may be

wondering why is this box bigger and all

that's because this is the overseas

version it has a bigger adapter in the

box and I'm actually not sure why I'd be

that much bigger I guess we'll have to

find out so this one is pretty beat up

too as you can see I got it a while ago

about a year and a half and I've been

treasuring it's I'm kind of surprised

I'm actually opening it but I've had a

huge feedback from you guys yesterday

asking me to do so so I'm gonna be

taking a look at this one here I'm gonna

put these aside and eventually I'm gonna

be unboxing the iPhone the first one

later this year and then the iPad

eventually in this thing is about seven

years old I believe I'm really looking

iTunes Store this iPhone came pre-loaded

third-party apps for the first time ever

so ok let's go ahead and do this and

I'll talk as I open it but here we go oh

this doesn't feel any different than the

one I opened it yesterday I'm really

really hoping I don't get scammed again

but this iPhone had several

revolutionary things about it for one I

was twice as fast and I was a pretty big

deal at the time it supported some new

technologies in particular 3G speeds

which were more than double that of edge

and I had GPS something that no iPhone

had before it's the only iPhone did I

have to afford it and they came at a

gigabyte and 16 gigabyte flavors it did

come in two colors for the first time

ever you had black and white and there's

something about that glossy black back

that I really really liked okay

and you have got to be kidding me you

have got to be kidding me

I don't think from factory that Apple's

gonna have a little piece of plastic on

the display how okay before I jump to

any conclusions is this fake because it

looks pretty messed with to me it's got

scuffs on the side here where a box that

hasn't been opened shouldn't have how

them

okay before I proceed let's talk about

price this one hurts considerably more

than this one because I paid I think it

was around six to seven hundred dollars

for this one okay there is a racket

going on on eBay do not buy sealed

phones in the hope of holding on to them

there is no way this is legit why would

there be a piece of plastic sitting on

the display and the screen protector

alignment is off here it's clearly been

messed with yeah I mean there is a

possibility there is a possibility that

this could have actually peeled off with

time but it just wouldn't you expect a

machine to do a better job at placing

this protector huh you know I'm not sure

about that I'm not sure if this is a

fake or not hmm it could very well be

that the adhesive itself over time

degraded and it's kind of grayed okay

I'm not gonna call any conclusions on

that just yet let's take a look at the

rest it's got some scuffing here which

is why I'm suspicious about but that

could be with time just like rubbing

huh it might actually be legit I might

have jumped the gun on that one

all right let's let's proceed let's take

a look at said so back in the day we

used to get a little sim ejector with

your iPhone Apple does it provide those

anymore this is from a country far far

away and what is this oh used to

actually get a microfiber little towel

with towelettes for your iPhone and wipe

that and Apple stickers okay I have a

good feeling about this actually it

might not piss scam it's just this is

suspicious because I would expect a

machine to do a better job at lining a

screen protector it definitely looks

better than a 3GS I opened yesterday

okay and

outside we've got old apple headphones

ten-year-old headphones untouched God's

the old USB cables and this is sealed

properly okay let's get to the goodness

here and let's go ahead and unbox this

guy you can see signs of the adhesive

where this left it on it but otherwise

man that actually feels quite good I

feel like this is possibly legitimate

and on the back so yeah this thing is

brand spankin new it's got some adhesive

residue on its but otherwise it looks

really good

no dust in the port's or anything this

is the real deal this design is iconic

I'm gonna say it again it's one of my

favourite iPhone designs

I think the iPhone 4 takes number one

but it was so comfortable now plastic

just felt good in your hand despite it

being plastic okay I'm gonna try and

power it on let's see if ten years later

the lithium can hold a charge and I'm

guessing that it's dead okay so we're

gonna have to charge that up I'd like to

take one more look at the packaging and

it looks very good like these lines the

seams they look absolutely om or I'm

gonna go ahead and charge this up and

I'll be right back I'm guessing this is

running iOS to possibly like a later

version of iowa's - but nothing it

should not be running iOS 3 enough for

something this old anyways alright so

Wow it's actually powering you know but

before that I wanted to mention what's

new so people coming from this guy over

here which this was pretty fastly

discontinued I mean it supported up to

iOS 3 that was three years of support

for Apple it was actually quite a big

upgrade at the time for users obviously

going from an aluminium back to a

plastic back that was pretty big comfort

wise it was great but materials

durability this one would scuff up more

often and even though you know with time

this

would reveal a patina of scratches and

whatnot still looked really good I mean

this is an 11 year old phone and it

still looks pretty dang good

this one though with time they crack on

the bottom here it wasn't anywhere near

as durable did have metal buttons on the

side now which was an improvement people

had these like gummy plastic rubber

feeling ones here so all metal Apple

wanted you to use their own headphones

that's why they put a little gap in

there so people clapped at the event

over that flush headphone jack and the

speakers were upgraded it was twice as

fast all around it was a pretty big

upgrade from this guy alright so it has

charged up no problem

actually very quickly - I'm impressed

after 10 years in cold storage it's

doing very well this is back in the day

when you need an iTunes to actually

activate it and I'm gonna go ahead and

do that from this towel I scratched it

there are literally little scratches in

it that are very hard to tell from a

microfiber towel come on you can see why

Apple did it stick with this design the

glass is perfect it's a lot more

resilient against these scratches but

there's just something about this design

I love it

I would love to see a modern version ok

I'm gonna go ahead and activate it

we'll see what version it's running here

oh ok

this has to be a sign so I've actually

never owned one of these new I've never

seen this in my life but that to me

looks like a good sign it's never been

used that's a little inserts for the SIM

card clear a placeholder I guess that is

a good sign so I'm leaning towards this

being legit if any of you guys have

evidence otherwise saying that it's not

legit let me know the description oh

there we go it is activated ready to go

it jumps straight into the phone app

before there was a setup menu of any

kind it's just in the phone already

jumping into the home at it home screen

so this was a new feature at the time

where you can actually move apps around

and induce the wiggle mode cool stutters

but it doesn't work let's see what

magical OS this is run

general about 2.2 look at that so this

is a later version of this iPhone I did

it shipped with iOS 2.0 but 2.2 is

pretty far back we be able to take

screenshots you were cool

there are page swipes and this was not

available on iPhone OS one none of that

so no spotlight search no multitasking

double tap the home button would

actually open up the phone app so this

goes way back my first iPod Touch was on

at one point one point to one point one

point three so it was very similar in

nature just had a couple things that

were missing

okay let's jump in check out Cover Flow

so got a Vichy here if we jump into this

look at that you had Cover Flow and it

was interactable so you can jump through

and it's pretty responsive that is

impressive we don't even have this

nowadays one of the big features was

that the speakers were upgraded in this

and that's not bad for a ten-year-old

device Peaks though but it's not bad you

literally cannot scrub through music are

you serious it's just volume and that is

so weird I for some reason I thought you

could scrub the music at least but you

can't huh or is that just to give you a

little demo here compared to the first

one how much faster it is the user

slogan twice as fast half the price so

let's try a little speed test here which

settings is it twice I wouldn't say

that's twice as fast those slower camera

1 2 ok maybe a moment faster calculator

1 2 I really would not say that's twice

as fast what they were referring to is

the iPhone 3G speeds of course loading

websites is twice as fast but otherwise

pretty good let's check out the camera

on this bad boy the iPhone 3G was pretty

capable let's see how it looks in this

options in here literally you can go to

your photos and you can take a picture

and that's just about it's not an extra
