Scuba Diving With iPhone X! Found Lost iPhone! #Helpful Post

Scuba Diving With iPhone X! Found Lost iPhone! #Helpful Post

what's up guys everything outpull pro
here we're out on the water again with
my buddy David we're gonna be doing
another extreme video this time with the
iPhone 10 so I got a brand new want to
here
the goal of this video is can we destroy
it with water because in my earlier test
we weren't actually able to submerge it

and have it die due to water damage so I
want to see how deep can we go while
recording using your iPhone any water
without a case like you shouldn't but
doing it regardless and out in columbia
water gots like it's a 30 35 feets
safely yeah we did this test last year
with the iphone 7 and that thing did
very well up until 25 feets till it
started you know going bad so I'm hoping
the iPhone 10 will do better and I think
it will I don't even think we'll break
it to that's my personal prediction what
do you think I kind of wanted to bring
it just so I can say that I broke an
iPhone yeah but in the water
we'll see yeah scuba proof can you take
it with you not that you should but
it'll be fun to see if you can plus
there's actually a ton of stuff in the
water here like bikes shopping cards
street signs so we'll see some little
adventure in there see what we can find
then swallow alright so we want to make
sure that we don't lose this phone we're
in no way closing up any of the ports
but we it's a very slippery phone we're
going deep with it there's a lot of silt
I lost my Apple watch here so taking no
risks we're gonna clamp it down pretty
hard in here alright so before we go in
just want to explain the plan 5 feet
increments for around 5 minutes when we
get deeper if it's not dying yet then
we'll go a little bit more extreme but
for now we're gonna do the baseline it's
a little bit more than what Apple
recommends but roughly around 5 feet for
5 minutes so good luck I I think nothing
will happen to it he's not as optimistic
so we'll see but we weren't able to
break it yet maybe this time around we
will let's go
oh yeah
all right so not gonna see anything
interesting probably for a little while
but just gonna test five feet and Wow
five feet you can barely see him in the
water hopefully we don't lose our friend
but he is certified he's good to do this
alright five minutes is up so give her
here I'm more than positive nothing has
happened to it looks like it's survived
I mean still recording let me cut that
it's fine no signs of any visible water
damage and it is working even responding
right away so so right ready to go in
for another dunk I think we're gonna do
10 feet now for another five minutes
alright so apparently you can do five
feet here that was ten already yes that
was ten already I'm gonna disobey
Philips order I'm gonna go straight down
to 20 feet because I have faith in this
thing so we're gonna go at 10 feet
increments now okay 20 feet then 20 feet
it is
all right still working perfectly at
this point I'll see what 20 feet will do
to it it's recording adios and Down
Under he goes it's crazy the visibility
is so bad it's like 5 feet you can't see
anything only know where he is by his
bubbles

see anything cool down there not yet let
me see it
drop it touch screen still responding
seems to be doing alright I'd sure yeah
so seems like it's alright no moisture
in the camera still working so 20 feets
after 5 minutes was fine and in the
earlier test it did well as well so it's
not a surprise once we go down to 30
that's the real challenge without a case
though it's quite impressive how well
it's doing at this point take it down to
30 now and I think we're gonna start
seeing some cool stuff down there yeah
I've literally lost my Apple watch here
while like two years ago I Dowell ever
find it but hey look out for it's pink
it's actually super crazy how resistant
this thing is to the water after you
know multiple dunks 20 feet in there it
is still working perfectly not a single
sign of water damage anywhere final
stretch of the road 30 feets we're just
gonna go ham and a see what we're gonna
be able to find down there kind of just
do some exploring because in other areas
where we were swimming you really can't
see much it's pretty murky so
and he submerged into the deep the abyss

so I think we reached our limits oh my
gosh it is gone I think wow how deep was
that 30 feet all right so this is what
happens when an iphone tenant gets water
damage we didn't ever get to this point
briefly see the camera in there but at
30 feet oh oh it's like it's on and off
working does this screen respond it does
I'm gonna airdrop this can you grab this
real quick I wanna save this footage
this is quite interesting that when an
OLED gets water damaged the glitches in
some interesting ways I hope I can
rescue this footage before it goes kaput
first a thought rose because it was
pitch black because it was pitch black
down there
so it was pitch black and I thought it
turned into like you know one where it's
dark
yeah oh yeah the auto-brightness yeah I
thought it was that just crashed down
both of the holding pretty colors that
are sawed out there did you see anything
like cool down there nothing at all
carat was so strong it was pushing me
against the pole it's kind of working
but the screen is like has all these
lines in it and it's greenish and stuff
but it is responding to touch everything
that's interesting this was like a
defect that was happening on some early
iPhones but now this is water induced
that's crazy
ghosting burn in really really weird all
right so I'm not gonna lie I'm honestly
very disappointed that we weren't able
to really capture anything and this
thing died before we got to see anything
cool I know for a fact there's like
bicycles and stuff you're gonna have to
give me that footage so I can show them
and this thing completely stopped
responding so it's not responding the
vibration motor is dead like it's
completely dead cameras are all faded I
mean it's got a bunch of moisture in
that you can definitely tell on the back
as well it's not scuba diver proof if
you're a scuba diver don't take it down
more than 20 feet we're gonna see if we
can find anything cool just gonna stick
to the shallow part and just see if we
can get any cool footage at least show
the bicycles I want to see that yeah the
bicycles are at 30 feet oh we already
broke from that final dive

what I thought no way
take it take it I don't want to drop it
you'll help me up her order see that it
was under a rock under a rock
yeah damn here give me that it was like
half a door rock did you get how you
found it that's crazy yeah I were to
take this up holy crap I wonder if it
works yeah so David over here just found
an iPhone on the bottom and
in a lunatic case ip68 doesn't look like
the case help too much there's a bunch
of boss inside I am
there's a bunch of water inside so I
highly doubt that that's actually
working oh my gosh
dang it's yeah there's no way it's like
crammed full of crap it's rose gold dose
with something newer it's a six success
mm-hmm there's no way I can't I can't
get that off here hold that side yeah
let's get away from the water I don't
want to drop this you can find it again
dude yeah the water was way clear over
here so I'm actually really surprised
this is like a pretty popular swimming
spot people jump off from there I would
not be surprised there's actually a ton
of stuff down here including my Apple
watch yeah I can't open it just trying
to loosen it I think it's beyond saving
that's for sure but Wow yeah holy crap
look at that look at the corrosion it's
literally all around him all right well
that's not gonna help I can cut the case
oh you got it this is kind of see it
told you the knife is the most important
part of the school day
oh wait oh that's the outside and maybe
the fence real glass shoot oh you did
break it all right there yeah she had
them that's broken already
okay so it does not turn on what a
surprise all right whoa
that's kind of funny that's crazy win
some you lose some hair at Columbia
River right guys so thanks for watching
just want to say do go follow my buddy
David he's got a link down below in the
description he does the channel full of
adventures diving stuff like that so I
would recommend you guys to check them
out but thanks for watching guys these
two phones did not survive the trial one
of them I don't know if you guys lost
your iPhone 6s in the Columbia let me
know I've got it sorry we broke the
display otherwise yeah this thing
survives like 20 feet past that wouldn't
really recommend it thanks for watching
guys peace
