Why iPhone XS Is SO Expensive. Tim Cook Explains..#Helpful Post

are the iPhone 10s and 10's max models
overpriced Tim Cook certainly doesn't
seem to think so he understands that
they are expensive but justifying that
price tag in an interview he actually
gave some very viable points in his
response to Good Morning America and in
this video I wanted to discuss that are
the iPhone 10s and 10's max models

justifiable at a thousand eleven hundred
or one thousand four hundred and fifty
dollars so the first point that he made
that I wanted to discuss with you is
just the usage per day and how much it
costs to use an iPhone 10s model the way
most people pay for these as it turns
out is they do a deal with a carrier and
they pay so much per month and so if you
look at even the phone that's priced
over a thousand dollars
most people pay about $30 a month for it
and so it's about a dollar a day so he
said that for a dollar a day the iPhone
10s antennas max can roughly be yours
this is with the upgrade plans $30 a
month what most people typically pay
over a two year span the iPhone 10's
comes down to $1 a day and that's not
bad at all considering some people spend
$5 a day on coffee you buy an app here
you go into the store you buy some
random junk for a few dollars a dollar a
day doesn't seem bad at all and it's
something that I literally use for at
least an hour two hours a day I don't
even want to check screen time because
it'll tell me something I don't want to
see but the amount of life and usage you
get out of this phone is certainly worth
more than a dollar the question remains
is does it have to be an iPhone 10s
model there are plenty of phones that
have four hundred five hundred dollars
give you the same usage for even less
per day and it seems like a better value
so yes I think that that point is a good
point but it can apply to a variety of
devices at a variety of prices and so
and if you look at it the phone has
replaced your digital camera you don't
have a separate one anymore it's
replaced your video camera it's replaced
your music player it's replaced all of
these different devices it's replaced
your video player so if you look at it
the phone is replaced your digital
camera is replaced your video camera
it's replaced your music player and just
replace all of those different devices
okay first off music player I don't
remember the last time I
use an mp3 player it's always been a
phone recently so I don't think that one
applies period but video camera and
photo camera sure those are certainly
improving their camera abilities but
it's never actually gonna replace like a
true DSLR or whatnot but a
point-and-shoot camera is sure that can
certainly replace it for many people so
that point I do see as being valid it
certainly could replace your digital
camera and actually this news just broke
today regarding the new iPhones the lens
is a little bit wider versus the 10 so
you might have some difficulty with
cases if they're very tight the camera
is just that much of better versus the
iPhone 10 apparently so will the iPhone
10s be replacing your digital camera for
most people even older iPhones already
have so um I don't know how would the
quality compared to like a $200
point-and-shoot camera but yeah I guess
you do get some extra value from that
and we found that people they want to
have the most innovative product
available and you know with that it's
not cheap to do that and then he says
that it's not cheap to have the most
innovative product and this is where I
100% agree with him I've been making
videos regarding these leaks rumors for
like a year and we always push for the
most innovation to have like the best
features the best specs and when Apple
actually delivers it and asks a price to
reflect all that innovation research and
development you know we Mon here sit and
moan about the price so really I guess
they're totally right about that they're
bringing us state-of-the-art processors
seven nanometer some great cameras
supposedly there are some phones that
they're to still beat the iPhone 10s
camera spec wise quality wise but still
Apple does some extraordinary research
to bring this all into one package and
for a device again that we use on a
daily is it really that much to ask for
a dollar a day to pay for this over two
years and the last point I wanted to
bring up is Warren Buffett so a couple
weeks ago he was interviewed with CNBC
and he actually gave a point that really
made me step back and be like wow that
that is valid I can't believe how much
sense this makes I don't know if you
guys know but Warren Buffett owns about
5% of the Apple company through
purchasing stocks and he keeps buying
them up just non-stop buying up lots and
lots of Apple and when they asked him
about that he said that he truly
believed in Apple as like a cornerstone
of Technology everybody has it influence
of Apple is so wide and far out that he
thinks it's more
about the the numbers now Apple produces
the financial reports for him it's all
about how ingrained Apple is in modern
life and technology in general and an
interesting point to reflect as he said
he has an airplane that costs a million
dollars but he'd rather use the iPhone
he'd rather give up that airplane than a
thousand dollar iPhone just because he
gets more use out of it and really
thinking about his point yeah we do use
this thing so much that a thousand
dollars may not be that much if you
really really break it down but again
that could apply to so many other
varieties of phone it doesn't
necessarily have to be a thousand dollar
iPhone to be the biggest you want to be
the best we want to be the best that's
our objective I know other people want
to sell the most we've never been about
selling the most it's always selling the
best the last thing Tim Cook says that
really makes me respect him is that he
said it's not about selling the most
iPhones it's about selling you the best
making the iPhone as good as possible
and then selling it to the masses
whoever wants to pay up that much money
to have the best you certainly can and I
totally respect it for them so there it
is regarding the prices of the iPhone
10s and 10's max you certainly will be
getting the best that a thousand dollars
can buy but not if you have the year old
iPhone you'd have to be upgrading from a
while ago in order to take advantage of
that full effect full upgrade to the
iPhone 10s so those are just my thoughts
I could definitely see how a thousand
dollars could be justifiable for this
phone if you have something really old
not something recent so Apple certainly
doesn't want you to be upgrading every
year I think with the software upgrades
how they're making old phones more
usable all the time so I think that when
you're ready to upgrade you certainly
will be getting your money's worth for a
thousand dollars but it's just it's not
gonna be a yearly upgrade thing and I
certainly think that Apple knows that
there it is guys the iPhone 10s and 10's
max let me know your thoughts down below
in the description are they truly
overpriced as Tim Cook out of his mind
or is it somewhat justifiable with all
the innovation that goes into these to
charge that much money
hope you enjoyed it guys peace
